IntelliChlor Salt Chlorinator uses common table salt to produce all the chlorine a pool needs, safely, effectively, and automatically. Same sanitation performance as manual chlorine addition without the drawbacks. No need for customers to buy, transport and store chlorine compounds. Full diagnostic capabilities, including cell life tracking that communicates remaining hours of cell life in real-time. Captures all performance data daily (production settings, hours of operation, chlorine output, cell cleaning cycles, salt readings, and water temperature averages). Push-button operation and easy-to- view displays enable fast checking of salt levels, cell cleanliness, sanitizer output, and water flow. My pool salt cell stopped working about 5 months after it was installed. I reached out to Aabaco Environmental through Amazon and asked for help. The Rep, Amy, initially refereed me to the manufacturer to get the issue diagnosed and then confirmed the cell was bad. Amy immediately sent me a return label and 4 days later the new salt cell arrived. A couple of days later the new cell stopped working and I reached out to Pentair and Amy again and found out I had a user error. Amy gave me her direct number and told me that Aabaco Environmental is a small family company who stands behind their products and that she would make sure this got resolved correctly.     • Unit not working after proper installation

t is installed exactly as instructions say. I was just a replacement for the same model, so hook it up and plug it in. All lights are working, however, it is not producing chlorine. Had all levels tested according to instructions, installed it,shocked the pool with dry chlorine, set it on 100% for three days, tested three days later, zero chlorine in the pool. Test (at the pool store) said it needed a gallon of chlorine (they said power was the same), however, put a gallon of liquid chlorine in the 11,000 gallon pool. Tested 3 day later, zero chlorine. It has all the right ph, salt, etc. levels correct (I had all these tested before installation, before the powered chlorine, after and prior to and after the liquid chlorine application. The unit's lights are all correct however it is still not producing chlorine. Next I am going to super shock the pool with five gallons of chlorine and leave the unit at 80 or 100% and test three days later, if it is zero chlorine, the unit is not working and will have to be returned for a replacement. BE AWARE! The manufacture will only provide a 60 day warranty on this product. Because you purchased on-line as compared to a brick and mortar store or by having the product installed by a professional or licensed pool builder/service company. This is crap by the manufacture!
