These stools are quite sturdy and well made. The instructions are clear, defining the parts each step of the way. The instructions say it will take 20 minutes to assemble, but it took me about 20 minutes just unwrap the parts. Everything was protected for shipping. Actual assembly took me just over an hour for each chair. It is important with this not to tighten the bolts until after they are all installed or the parts won’t fit initially. These are attractive, and the Milano color matches almost decor. Overall we are happy with these barstools, but the con I’ve found is that as I get in the chair, it tips forward a bit. It is a little disconcerting at first, but now that I know it will tip, I can adjust to it. Because of that, I wouldn’t recommend these for anyone with balance issues. ... show more

This chair is much larger than it appears. But that's great because it can hold a wider range of people, with spacious seating that is properly supported by the base frame. Assembly was a bit challenging, but the second one went smoother. The instructions were not clear, especially with respect to the circle. The pinhole goes on the bottom, which makes the difference in alignment of the holes. Do it wrong and you'll need to back up a step or two. But the chair is lightweight, so it's easy to lift and move, and it's strong so it can hold plus sizes with the same ease as it holds children. That's perfect! The color and pillows are great. Initially planned on using these 2 rust-red stools on our outdoor deck. But these 2 stools give some needed pop of color on our kitchen island. What convinced us more was that these are waterproof, including the included pillow seats. My kids aren't the most careful. So, having reddish waterproof & really stain-resistant stools like these seem like a no-brainer for us. Another feature is that these have wider seats and armrests, unlike our old kitchen stools.
