Seems like you have to clean glasses before use. What’s the point? I get smudges on my eyebrow area all the time. I’m constantly cleaning them. I don’t want to brush them and clean them to use the tool. It does clean them and they get as clear as they can get.

When I first used this, I was so shocked at its effectiveness! My glasses have the Transitions and anti glare coating and it’s impossible to get the “haze” off of them. Well, this little tool took it completely off! 2 weeks later, it’s not quite as effective but still better than anything else I have found! I cannot stand smudges on my glasses and the cloth cleaners seem to become ineffective quickly over time. This is my second set of peeps. My first pair mysteriously disappeared after I cleaned someones glasses with them. The other nameless brands were NOT the same. Very disappointing and one scratched my lens. I’m a new (and reluctant) glasses wearer and the smudge issue was getting really annoying so decided to try something besides the sprays. While I still think this thing is a tad too expensive, it really does work much better than the sprays and microfiber cloths. This tool is really handy, but leaves a smudge ‘ring’ print from the paddle as if it’s just smearing the smudge around. Perhaps it’s because I wear makeup or it’s just natural skin oils. When I put my glasses on I can’t tell, but I’d still recommend using a spray cleaner and having a cloth ready anyways if that would bother you. ... show more
