This whole fountain is VERY detailed and is made out of resin, so this will last a long time. The handle on top of the barrel is metal which gives it a more authentic look to it. The back of the barrel which can be seen in my video has has a large hole, so you can fill the water and get to the pump very easily. Peaktop sells some awesome fountains and ALL are worth it. You will be VERY happy with this fountain! Very easy to set up, and can be done less then 10 mins from box to ground. Everything is included to get this up and running. The pump has also a feature to control your water flow which most of water pumps do nowadays. I have mine set to the middle setting because when it is on full/open mode, it tends to "spit" more water out then I'd like, which means, less of me having to refill the barrel. I've included one and a video of the fountain. I hope that Amazon keeps them here, because lately, they have not been keeping my photos/videos here. You can adjust the pump level to a lower setting and there's NO splashing outside of fountain. Noise is fabulous!! I've owned lots of fountains, both inside and outside and this is perfect for inside. Not so sure how well it would hold up with outdoor elements. Took about 1 minute to set up - I'm over the moon about this - HIGHLY recommend!! ... show more

I love this fountain! It is the perfect size for my patio paradise. I feel like I am on a tropical vacation somewhere. It is so relaxing. We all just want to take a nap. Best part of all, it does not splash. Everyone who sees it loves it. I wish I had found one of these years ago.

I would give it zero stars if I could. It lasted about 4 months before the cheap paint started chipping off! Horrible because it splashes to much to be placed indoors. I saved up for this and feel completely stupid for buying something so cheaply made at such an outrageous price.

Pump works great. I had to prime a pump I got from Home Depot so it is so nice to have a pump that starts the water flow without help! The water sound on this one is not like a babbling brook. It is more like the sound you may hear in the bathroom when one is relieving yourself...
