I've only used this mask about 5 times but I already can see some changes in my complexion. I feel as though my face is a lot brighter and overall my skintone is more even. I even feel like the actual skin texture is more youthful. I consider my skin generally very dull, but today I caught myself in the mirror at the end of my shift and for a moment I wondered if I had foundation on. I use this in the shower once or twice a week as an exfoliating mask and I have seen great results. It makes my skin feel softer and I have less breakouts than I did before using it. My boyfriend tried it and noticed a difference as well. It is very thick and difficult to rinse off so I’d recommend using in the shower. I notice that using a more generous amount offers better results. I appreciate that it is fragrance free and clear of dyes. This mask is a strange consistency…almost jelly-like but works fabulously. A little goes a long way. No discernible smell and glides on like butter.

    • Thick barrier-like texure, feels really nice on the skin
I loooooove the texture of this. A lot of snail mucin products I feel tend to be very watery textured (like if you were to mix a lightweight gel with water) but this is THICK. It feels like a thicker edge or pomade gel and adds nice-feeling barrier of moisture on the face while still allowing for comfortable movement. After using I do notice a softness in my skin right away. I like to use it on drier skin days, I feel like it helps kind of get my skin barrier back in check, obviously following with a good moisturizer. I feel I have noticed some slight scar appearance reduction, which is nice because my skin often scars at even the smallest pimple/breakout. I was skeptical at first but you notice a huge difference even within the first week! For context, I have super sensitive skin, can’t even use vitamin c it’ll break me out in hives - but honestly this is probably even more amazing!

I just got this today and tried it as part of my skin care regimen. My skin is very dry and flaky and that’s why I chose this. I cleansed my skin and then put the snail gel on. It doesn’t have a smell and it does seem thick and weird but glides on the face smoothly. It’s very cooling and effective. I used it in combination with my facial steamer. I’m not sure how I feel. I have used this for about a month off and on as per directions. Product is super slimey in texture, not heavy dries decently on the face. Slimey again upon removal. No smell, face is soft after but I haven’t noticed any real changes thus far
