This is in follow-up to my original review. I couldn't speak to durability until an adequate amount of months. I was hoping I'd get a year or more out of it with no damage or excessive wear. The photo depicts damage after using the paddle approx 4 x per week for 10 weeks. I loved everything about his paddle, but I can't buy another with such a fragile surface. I have a Selkirk and two Paddleteks that have lasted over two years with no damage. But all three have a protective edge. So, I guess the upshot is: I'll be looking for this paddle's utility, but with an edge that doesn't chip. I can't say for certain what caused this, but I can't afford to replace a $90 paddle every 10 weeks. The surface creates a spin that can only be described as extraordinary. I do my best to keep it in good condition by tapping handles after a game, and by not scraping it across court surfaces. ... show more

Good power, feel, muted sound and durability. Probably one of those $100 sticks that plays like a $200 stick. I'm relatively new to pickleball but seems to me the better paddles are also quieter. My only knock could be it's just a little lighter than my Insum Raging paddle.

I am an advanced player and wanted to to try an open neck paddle without breaking the Bank. I currently use the conventional CFS 16mm paddle. The paddle is light weight and feels balanced. It has a good pop and you need to have good control else the ball can go long and wayward. Hence I think it is not a good beginner paddle. I did not feel much difference due to the open neck design vs the conventional paddle in terms of swing speed or any added benefit. I did feel the spin was lacking. The surface does seem to have some have friction but did not seem as effective as CFS. I am going back to my CFS as I did not feel any great benefit in the open design or this paddle in specific. This paddle just suits me. It’s rimless which I really like. It plays great with good, effortless power. Has a great feel to it and the weight, which is more on the heavy side it just perfect in my mind. I don’t think I could find a better paddle if I paid a lot more money. I’m a 3-4 rated player and think this paddle would work well for anyone in that range. ... show more

I will plan to update this once I have a replacement racket but this one broke within 30 minutes of using it during my first game. I thought it might have just been the paint but it was the actual frame of the paddle that cracked during the first sets of playing. I'm an intermediate to advanced player, so I know how to use a racket and during a normal rally hit, I felt the tip of the racket snap. Prior to the break, it felt like a good paddle with a good touch and had a good amount of spin while not having a carbon front. It felt like a good paddle, but it's tough to recommend from the first experience. Once I have a change to get a replacement, I'll update the review as needed. ... show more

I have been looking for a beginner paddle to assist with my teaching and training… Found it! The PBA Dinkmaster is what I have been looking for. Great weight, great feel and a great price.     • Seems great for players with tennis elbow
I started to play much more regularly & started struggling with "tennis elbow". Used Dr recommended brace but still impaired, so I also looked to upgrade paddle from Joola (which my husband still loves). Ordered this after seeing some positive reviews & love it. I think the aerodynamics helped my game as others saying I am much quicker with reaction but I have noticed it is much more forgiving, control greatly improved & my errors are down. It has not helped with power. Customer service great as they responded immediately to shipping error. But after using this paddle about three weeks, the greatest thing is NO MORE PAIN! Tennis elbow is no longer an issue and only variable is the paddle change.... ... show more
