I wanted to replace the canned food topper we used when we fed our fur-baby, but I wanted it to be more nutritious, travel-friendly and with less waste (empty, smelly cans). I tried a dried brand that had human-grade nutrition (box in first picture), but it just wasn't appealing due to the smooth, nugget-free consistency when mixed. Then I tried this, which has great nutrition, but no gravy. I am now mixing about 1/3 of the dried, powdered food with 2/3 of this. I add the water into two dishes with a scoop of my mixture in each, add the dry food (4Health brand) and supplements we give, and, in a few minutes, stir and pour. Our baby loves it and it looks good. The evening meal is already made that way, but the dry food gets soft. I add a little more water to make gravy again and he wolfs it down. I have to soak the food for my dogs, one because of teeth the other dog just prefers it. when you soak it a few hours it looks just like ground beef. my dogs poops are better, they love it, and I also use a piece as a treat instead of harmful treats at store. I have it auto shipped 2x a month 5 bags. its saves a little $$. Its the most expensive dogs food but as they say you get what you pay for. Would rather spend more on food then the Vet. Delivered quickly, well packaged. Dogs like it. No digestive upset or gas. Price is reasonable. My only comment is the meat pieces tend to easily break down into tiny bits (like any cereal or chips) Doesn't make it useless, just an observation. I still use & recommend.

There is a big kick with healthy food for dogs, and getting dried food is cheaper to ship but more expensive to make. This is likely a high quality product, and my dog loved it! However, I am the wrong type of customer for this. I spoil my dog with treats, but for the main food I look for a cheap, high protein content. This is high protein, but almost as expensive as the 50lb bag I buy from Menards with 29g of protein per serving. ... show more

My dog is a very picky eater but loves the different Pawstruck collagen chews so I decided to give the air dried food trial size a try. My dog absolutely loved it! I mixed a little bit in with his kibble and he devours. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is because of the price. It’s pretty expensive but I think I’m going to have to try a larger bag and see how long I can make it last as a mix-in. ... show more
