  • Smaller than I thought
Color: Brown
Easy to put together once you figure out the instructions. Yes it's pretty flimsy but I'm using it for quail in a cover patio so my needs are met. I would NOT use this out doors if you have predators or rain/snow.

  • Worst self assembly item I've done in 30+ years
Color: Yellow
I took the chance on this because lumber is so expensive right now. I wish I would have just built my own from scratch. I'm 52 yo. I've been assembling things for over 30 years. When I was a kid, I was the one called on to assemble everyone's Christmas presents. I'm a graduate of an Aviation airframe and powerplant tech school, where I was in the top 3 of my class. This is the WORST thing I've ever assembled... coupled with the WORST directions you've ever seen!!! The materials are cheap. The "rooms" (level) cannot be separated (without modification). I'm pretty sure it will fall apart when I put an average size New Zealand female in it, and she starts moving around. (I'll update if I decide to take the chance.) If you DO decide to take a chance on it... don't trust the directions. Make sure you position the side panels so they are higher at the rear, and the back panel and door that have slots are on top. Be prepared to find a few screws on you own, as mine was missing a couple of the smaller ones. (I'm a "regular" visitor at ACE, so 20 cents wasn't a big deal on it's own. It could throw you off if you don't have experience though. My advice... search "raising rabbits"... and look for DIY hutch plans. Don't make my mistake. ... show more

  • bad quality, good service
Color: Grey
EDIT: After contacting the manufacturer I received a refund, so the customer service is good. I also did end up making the cage work out better with some modification (plastic liners on trays & vinyl steel mesh in cage), but did get a separate cage additionally. I keep this one as a backup. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Apparently there is a screw shortage because when I received this product they gave me incorrect screws, so I thought "huh odd, must have been a mistake", so I requested replacement parts. They told me "we are unable to fulfill the parts replacement order due to a stock availability issue. . We appreciate your understanding." and offered a 48 dollar credit... Unacceptable. They sold me this piece of poo fully knowing they have no screws for it, gave me random screws and want me to find very specific screws and dowel rods for 48 dollars (without giving me some of the dimensions). Yeah no thanks, if I need to head to the store for parts for this garbage I can save time and trips by buying a different cage that comes with all the parts I need. Also this cage is horrible for the price. Some of the wood is literally a few millimeters thick and is cheap fiber board. The corners and edges of the wooden top flake off by just friction against carpet. I doubt this is another defect. If you have rabbits they will eat through this cage and break out in less than an hour unless you put mesh wire on the inside and make some serious modifications. Also the bottom tray has wood exposed directly to the urine/poo! This means that it will soak in unlike in the rural king/tractor supply cages that have plastic trays that wont soak or smell. Save yourself the headache and buy a different cage from somewhere else, may cost more short term but will be worth it. ... show more

  • Rabbit hutch fair but not great
Color: Yellow
This rabbit hutch is okay. It was not too hard to put together. The wire is nit as sturdy as it could be. The size is adequate but barely. For the money it's worth it, but I wish we would have purchased a little bigger one.

  • Made very cheap
Color: Grey
It came with a crack in it. You have to drill the holes yourself, which isn’t a huge deal but I just wasn’t aware. The staples are coming out already where the fencing is and we have only had it for 3 days. The wood is very thin and is NOT weather proof. It rained yesterday and the water seeped through and all of our bedding was wet. 2/10, don’t really recommend. ... show more

  • Great hutch!
Color: Grey
I’ve purchased several rabbit hutches from Pawhut. This one is just as nice as any of them. So simple & cute. It has slide out trays under both levels! Which is a must.. it just makes cleaning so much easier. I personally needed a hand assembling the last step in the directions but we got it done. Only downside is that I wish the roof was black asphalt instead of green. That’s just a personal preference though, I can easily spray paint it. My rabbit thoroughly enjoys this enclosure. ... show more

  • Don't.
Color: Yellow
Quality is terrible. Thin pressed wood I think? Super easy to put together but don't try and move it with ANYTHING in it, it will shatter. Haven't cleaned it yet but it took 3 days in open air to get the chemical smell out enough to trust my quail inside it. Oh 2 came broken and I ignored bc it was fixable, so i fixed the 2 (I bought 4 of these) that were broken with holes on the sides and within a week, the entire thing has collapsed. With my birds in them! Don't worry tho. Today the other one got taken out by some high winds, 14 mph according to the weather Channel! So just don't bother especially if you love your pets. The roof is so heavy it collapses the sides... RIP Punkin. ... show more

  • great for quail
Color: Brown
Had trouble finding a cage for my quail...this will work, and can separate quail by removing the stairs and closing it off. I have It for outside and it works well for me
