This is a great idea if you are growing your plants from clippings in your fish tank. This keeps everything together. It fits perfect in the tank and the suction cups are working very well. I used these to keep airline tubing in place. The zip ties included work great. The little parts to keep the tubing in place are very small I just ended up using the zip ties. I think these will hold up well.

Buy these, buy a sheet of 18" x 12" plastic canvas mesh. Cut the plastic canvas mesh into strips about 3" wide (you will get four 18" strips if you need longer strips, six 12" strips if you need shorter strips). Attach one or two of these suction cups (using zip ties) on either end of the strip. Attach to your aquarium glass so that about an inch is above the water and 2" below. Easy way to corral your floater plants where you want them to stay. Very inexpensive and much more effective than any other plant corrals I have ever used. ... show more

I secured all of my air tube lines just below the gravel line along the back glass inside my aquarium and after at least 10 gravel vacuumings the tubes are just where I placed them! They hold strong! Only gripe is, they smell weird. But that happens with alot of stuff made with silicon. They're fine.

I needed to secure a glass thermometer in my aquarium. This suction is small enough and has a thin white zip tie that threads through holes in a protruding center. This worked great. It is still stuck one week later but the clear suction is now white. ( It comes with a piece that plugs into the protrusion too but that didn’t seem reliable enough for my glass thermometer). ... show more
