I have been trying to find a quality shampoo for my hair for about two years now. I've been trying to stay in the $20/30 range. I'm not going to name brands, but I will say it's been an epic disaster. One brand ($35) turned my normally bright white hair dull yellow after the first few washes. There were two others that made my hair fall out, and one that made my scalp burn. Seriously!! These were reasonably high end brands that I found by doing Google searches for best hair health shampoo. Fortunately this shampoo is finally the answer. It occurred to me that I've been seeing Paul Mitchell in salons for over 20 years now and I certainly don't think that would be the case of it wasn't good. This shampoo does not disappoint!!! Gentle and through cleansing with a calming pleasant fragrance. Nicely priced and the new packaging is a step in the right direction but not perfect yet. I've used this product for years and love how it makes my hair feel. I'd highly recommend that you give it try.

This is my favorite shampoo. When the summer is hot and humid this shampoo cleans all the sweat away and leaves my hair light and smooth with a nice shine. I’ve also noticed it has the same effect on chemical treated hair as it does on virgin hair because I’ve been growing my natural hair color out. So if you want to stop dying your roots, get this shampoo. If your roots look gray, use a little brush to apply a matching powder, like an eyeshadow or powder cosmetic. In a month or two you can progressively see your own unique hair color growing in and then you can start using a fun rinse in a color that isn’t permanent to blend into your dyed hair color. I used a very light pink I found at Sally’s Beauty supply that doesn’t take on virgin hair, and didn’t want it to, just wanted a little blending. The hint of pink took the attention of my natural color growing out and provided the time needed to completely blend in and be the toe-head I was born to be. The whole process was possible using this shampoo from the way it makes my hair shine and helped grow out my hair quicker too. It does cost more than some shampoos but now I don’t need to buy color for roots and that makes it all a win-win. Quality is exactly what’s in this bottle of shampoo. You’ll love the freedom of not having to color your roots anymore. This shampoo literally nourished what looked gray right out of my new hair.
