I living a rural area and have two pit mixes; one rescue pit/bulldog 80lbs (6 y/o male) and one pit/lab 70lbs (3 y/o female). It works on both of them, and doesnt stress out my rescue when my younger one gets corrected. I hardly ever use the shock except when they decide to hyperfocus and could be a danger to themselves. It stops my extremely hyper 3y/o (dip 💩) dead in her tracks and refocuses her on me for redirection. The first set I had for 3 years then tragically stopped connecting, the second set of collars is proving to be better than the first set. As it only beeps during the beep not during the vibrate or shock; as it did previously. I would highly recommend to anyone with more than one dog, two dog that they are currently training, especially for the dip💩 dog. And yes it does work on my 80lbs rescue when he decides he's on a mission to chase the squirrels back to whatever level of hell they came from. 😆 ... show more

My husband and I cannot say enough about these collars. They are perfect for the training of our two dogs. We are able to use one remote for both collars and differentiate between both dogs. We did not want to take away their "bark" completely by getting a regular collar that just buzzes every time they bark. Instead, we use these collars for specific instructions and couple it with a command at the same time. The collars have three features that include a beep, vibrations, and shock.     • Works great until it stops working.
The beep & vibrate work well. I have two dogs so I purchased the two back-one pit mix & one shepherd mix. The problem with this is that the beeps sound the same on both collars so when I correct one dog the other dog gets confused. The vibrate doesn’t work well on my shepherd since she has longer hair & the shock function doesn’t seem to effect her so I don’t think it works at all. The other collar works well for my pitbull mix since she has short hair but the shock is inconsistent & will only work some of the time. These would be great if you don’t need the shock functions & only have one dog. Overall it has lasted a couple year & the charge is pretty good. I don’t know how waterproof it is & I won’t be testing that. ... show more

    • Worked well...until it didn't

I bought these for my two new pups, a now, 9 month old aussie mix and a 6 month old english bulldog mix so when they were actin' like fools and not focusing on what I was asking of them (stop chasing the cat! don't dig my plants!) I could give them a little buzz to get there attention. Now, when I say buzz, I mean the vibration mode. I do not believe in shock "training" so I never used it. Most of the time the audible beep was enough and if not, the vibration always did the trick. They worked extremely well until the remote stopped functioning properly. The toggle switch on the side basically stopped switching from one collar to the other so only one dog would ever receive the cues. Unfortunately this started after only 2.5 months. So in short, I would recommend something like this, just not sure it would be this particular product. (Also, please don't shock your pets. I assure you, with the correct training style, the vibration is plenty) ... show more

I have two small dogs. One is 24lbs and the other is 13lbs. I have a glass front door so they like to ark at everything.. these have really helped to reduce that. They don’t like the beep or the buzz so I don’t need to use the shock. They are curly dogs and to use the shock the collars need to de tighter and the shock has to be turned up higher than I like so I just keep it turned down. ... show more

Over all very happy with the beep vibrate and shock are perfect for my GSP & GWP. The charge on these has been great for me. I did a really long initial first charge on them. The dogs wear them all day, at night I take them off and turn them off. You get the hang of changing to different collars on the remote after some time lol. The only down side I’m having is the gray one loosens up over time so it’s not sitting snug on the neck. I’m sure I could rig it somehow to stop though. ... show more
