Update: 1 month and 20 days later, the button to turn the collar on is somehow missing. There was no rough play or anything of that sort, but the yellow rubber part was loose and when I tried to fix it, I realized it simply does not work now. So, so, so disappointed as this collar worked SO well for training and at the dog park. Now I have to spend another $30 which tells me I could've just invested in a higher priced one originally. :( Original review: I bought this to correct and prevent slight aggression in my new rescue. When I read the reviews I didn't believe all of the "I never had to use the shock function" reviews, but.... I didn't have to use the shock. Lol. I do if he is not responding and LOVE that you can adjust it to a desired response to avoid harm to the dog. I've used the shock maybe 3 times since I've had it and it's been almost 2 months. The beep function is a sound that grabs their attention quickly which is why the shock isn't typically needed. Of course, this depends on your dog. Mine tends to be pretty pig-headed and when really into something will ignore all cues for correction. Still, the beep works about 85% of the time. This is the third PATPET Dog Training Collar I used with my dog. PROS: I really like the sleek design and USBC charging port vs USB the older models have. The color is nice, stands out less agains my dogs fur vs the gold/silver of the past 2 models. I like how much thiner the remote and device on the collar are too. The locking component and switch between Collar 1/Collar 2 is great and much more easily accessed on this version but were not needed for how I use the collar. Overall price is best perk of this training collar. CONS: Upon testing the vibration setting, there was ZERO difference when I upped or lowered the vibration level. Just the same consistent level of vibration no matter the setting. I also tested the shock setting on myself and felt nothing, cautiously raising the setting but not feeling a shock still. I only need the bell/vibration anyways and would have preferred no shock setting but its something to note. Overall, this collar is perfect for my intended use which is reinforcing my property line with my dog while she is off-leash in our yard. It also helps re-focus her if she is distracted by an animal, people walking by, general outdoor smells ect. Although Id like to be able to buy the educator dog training collar the PETPAT one is significantly more affordable and works fine for what I need. ... show more

The battery lasts surprisingly pretty long the tone alert is very loud for the dog to hear and so is the vibrate it's a very overall great collar for training purposes for your dog would buy again.

The product itself seems to be working very well. Was disappointed when it did not arrive on time. Did call customer service. They did get it here before I had to go camping. It has a good beep to it and the vibrate works very well haven't had to use the shock cause the vibrate corrected her very well. She ignores the beep. ... show more
