I’m a 78 year old woman. I put all the pieces together without any help. The directions were easy to follow. The engineering of each piece was perfect. The cushions are comfortable. We received this set as a Christmas present. Putting it together is extremely difficult for one person however, the direction are very straightforward and easy to follow (there’s just a lot of screws). Would definitely recommend a ratchet set for hex screws. With the difficulty of assembly, I’m feel assured that it will be very durable. It comes with covers which are surprisingly very durable but I added some waterproofing spray. We assembled this at Christmas and will not be able to completely enjoy it until warmer weather. Some reviews had issues with the seat cousins, we didn’t experience issues. It’s just like putting a pillow into a pillow case. I think this was definitely worth the buy, the size is great i'm 5'11" and these are the perfect height i think. the cushions could be a little better but what do you expect when paying this little on a full set like this? It is a great set for the value, the wicker is nice, cushions look great as well. I will be keeping mine inside of a gazebo that I actually purchased on here as well so I think the sun fade wont happen as quickly as others have mentioned, that is if they do at all. As well I think because they wont be so exposed to the cold that the wicker should last a long long time. Must note there are no children that come around at the home where I keep these nor pets so that's just another reason I think they'd last a bit longer being adult kept. Instructions on putting these together were actually great! Everything came in 3 boxes as stated and they didn't all come on the same day but no worries everything arrived, and arrived undamaged at that so thats a win. Included were tools but use your own and get it done a little faster. Having two people would have definitely helped but I put everything together in a little over 7 hours thru two days of working on them. ... show more

I searched forever for a set like this for our deck, finally settling on this one and it's perfect! The shipping was much quicker than we anticipated, which was such a nice surprise. It came in three boxes and everything was delivered at the same time. Nothing was missing and it actually came with some extra screws, etc., for putting it together. The peacock blue color is beautiful and the set is very sturdy. The fabric is is durable and cleans easily. Extra thick cushions and pillows, make it incredibly comfortable and the table with storage is great for blankets and such. I made a big pot of red chili and our children came over for a deck furniture building party, so they put it together for us in no time. Even without a group such as ours, the instructions are thorough and it's easy to put together, it may just take more time if you're doing it alone. A tip for when putting the seat covers on, is to fold the foam like a taco and insert it, then just adjust the fabric as necessary. I've noticed with some sets, that the seating height is too low but this one is perfect and very comfortable. We added a screen and projector to our deck and we are looking forward to enjoying years of entertainment while comfortably lounging on our new deck set. The media could not be loaded. It’s exactly what I wanted. I can’t speak too much to the assembly. I hired a contractor on task rabbit to assemble it for me. But it took roughly 4 hours for him to complete alone. That aside, it’s beautiful and very comfortable to sit on. It elevates my newly renovated gazebo area and I couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome. The center table’s storage is pretty deep which I LOVE. For now, that’s where I keep the furniture covers that came with the product. The furniture is very lightweight but also very sturdy and well-built. Came in 3 boxes. The 1st box came 2 days after I ordered it. It took about 30 minutes for my mother (85 years old) and myself (60 years old) to assemble. The other 2 boxes came about a week later. It took us about 2-1/2 - 3 hours to put each box together. Using a drill helped alot. Overall, assembly was easy. Everything was labeled. Directions were easy to understand. Came with covers. It looks beautiful on our deck. Seems very sturdy. Stayed put during a storm. Got alot of compliments. This was a good purchase. Highly recommend. ... show more

We bought our house about 3 years ago & patio sets at the time were always over $1500 for everything I wanted. When I saw this set for less I pondered & pondered if I should take the plunge sight unseen. I read the reviews, and I must admit they made me so nervous about purchasing this set solely based on some of the reviews. So I took a leap of faith & it turns out I wasn’t disappointed! The set is beautiful & comfortable. For context I’m 5”7 220lbs & my hubby is 6”3 328lbs we both sit comfortably on this set. Granted it did take some time to put together but that is expected. We had a windy rain yesterday & all the cushions stayed put & the water just slid off. Please note the set does come with covers I just didn’t have the opportunity to cover the set before the rain started. The frame and structure of this set is very sturdy and nice. It will last for many years. The couch cushions are ok but not super cozy but good enough for conversation with guests. Great buy for price. 3 of my couch cushions were ripped when we received it. I contacted the company through Amazon and they fixed it immediately and sent me 3 new ones.
