This hammock is very high quality! It looks beautiful in my backyard, and has held up to wind and rain alike. The ropes do sometimes get tangled up which is frustrating, but not an issue. My one complaint is that the space for you to actually lay in is not that long. I'm 6' tall, and I find it's a little uncomfortable to lay it, as my head rests on the bar when i am at a comfortable angle. It's also not easy to adjust if you don't have adequate distance between poles to stretch it more for comfort, since the ropes are so long. If the ropes were shorter, and the distance between bars was longer, this would be a perfect product. ... show more

The hammock arrived right on time. The hammock material is made of a heavy duty material. It’s a bit plastic like feeling sort of like an industrial trap. Seems like it will hold up well to rips and most likely won’t rot. Very water resistant. It may be a bit sticky to bare skin on a hot day. No air flow through the material. I think mosquitoes will have a hard time biting through it. My biggest complaint is whoever strung the webbing installed the material so that all the sewn seams are on the side you lay on. If I wanted to untie 36 knots I suppose I could turn it over. It’s sort of like wearing a shirt inside out right now. Most people won’t notice this but as you’re lying on it for long periods of time it’s hard not to think of the dummy that strung it upside down. The string is a soft cotton type material. I guess I was expecting something a bit more weather resistant but so far no issues. I really wish the wooden bamboo supports were one piece rather then being hinged. I could see this being a weak point at sometime in the future but for now it doesn’t seem to be an issue. Overall the curved design is very nice looking and pretty comfortable with a pillow. Im keeping the product despite a few issues. 4 out of 5 stars is the best I’d rate this hammock. ... show more

The curved wooden bars make the hammock much safer than without the curve, as you are more cradled and less likely to fall out. It can be difficult for some children and adults to get in and out of a hammock, so this feature both helps (less likely to roll off) and hurts (it might be more difficult to get out if you have limited mobility.) The fabric is comfortable, and without a mesh it keeps you from having elbows or hands go through the mesh as in string hammocks.     • I can't figure out how to get in it.

It's beautiful and seems like good quality. The spreader bars makes it very flat. When I hang it up high on. the chain then I can't get in it. It bounces me out. When I put the chain down lower, I hit bottom. What am I doing wrong? My hammock stand I believe is for a 13-14ft. hammock.
