Nicely made. I'm using them on my outdoor chairs where the cat and dog like to lay. No accidents yet so I can say how absorbent they are.

    • These would be wonderful if I could get my dog to use them!
I have 3 little dogs, and when it's bad weather, they hate to go outside, and will occasionally think that the kitchen floor makes for a good bathroom spot! I tried placing one of these mats near the door, and even sprinkled a couple of drops of their urine on it, hoping they would get the idea that this is indoor plumbing at its finest. Unfortunately, they have no interest in trying it at all. In fact, last night during a rainstorm, one of them peed about three feet away from the pad. Sigh... The good news is that for those of you who have dogs that are already pee-pad trained, these pads would be fabulous! I tried pouring some water on it to see how it holds up to leaks, and the bottom stayed perfectly dry, while the top layer absorbed the water instantly, not letting it form puddles. One other thought is that they could also be great mats for under their food and water dishes. I'm hoping that my dogs come to appreciate these pads as much as I do. ... show more

We use these a lot for puppy training. They work well and they can't shred them or eat them like the disposable ones. We have toy poodles, so can't speak about the sturdiness with larger breeds.

Since these arrived, not accidents. Maybe the are effective as a preventative measure!!! No, I know it has just been a good run. I tested these first by stepping out of the shower onto it. Soaked in the top dry bottom. Then I poured a few ounces of water to simulate a doggy incident. Soaked in, dry bottom. I did not give it a washing machine test, but they seem made well enough to handle it, if that is how you choose to clean them. ... show more

Works great so far! I put them in the cage for my rabbits so it’s easier for me to clean. I love that it’s machine washable.
