From what I've seen of aftermarket LED headlights, there is a wide range of cost and quality. Many that I have seen (usually, coming toward me on the highway at night) feature low beams that are focused higher than necessary, and not noticeably less bright than high beams. This creates an uncomfortable and dangerous situation for oncoming traffic. That being said, I was very pleased with the intensity and beam focus of both the high and low beams of this headlight set! The high beams give a very good view of everything around while the low beams are plenty bright enough, but focused at the correct angle to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. The connectors were perfect for my application, and they came with universal adaptors for alternate fitment. All in all, I am very pleased and would highly recommend these headlights! Note: I installed these on a 1991 Chevy 1500 W/T. Amazon selection guide said they would not fit. Keep in mind, this model and year range of these trucks offered either dual headlights (on each side) or single headlights. Mine has the single headlight option and these fit perfectly.     • Inside dash high beam indicator light don't work. Why?!?
Used the wire harness for a Toyota 1991 pickup, everything works as should but the high beam indicator light on the dash does NOT work when high beam is on. Look out people .... Might get blinded!

    • The light is better on your eyes than conventional headlights.
I really like these headlights a lot. The only drawback is unlike older style "focused" beams, these headlights don't project a focused beam out in front of you like conventional headlights. The low beams are great but the high beams don't project out because they're not focused beams. The other drawback is they will give you a whiteout in heavy fog especially on the high beams because they don't project out a focused beam of light that cuts through fog. ... show more

These are a direct replacement for my 1986 Chevrolet Corvette. I did not need any additional wiring, and they fit and look great. I would recommend when you install them, to remove the negative battery terminal from your battery, Because the headlights will have a tendency to try and reset themselves once you turn the knob for the manual raising of the headlights. Aside from that, very simple to install, I’ll get it within 15/20 minutes, and they are not too heavy on the headlight motors. ... show more

They are direct fit on my 1993 GMC Suburban. The provided wiring connections sucks I threw them in the trash and hardwired them. I had intermittent problem using the provided connectors light would flash go on and off. Super bright make sure you adjust them sonyou dint blind oncoming traffic with you low beams. Time will ultimately tell if the LEDs in the unit have been properly sealed and epoxy coated. ... show more

Installed these headlights 4 weeks ago. Installation was easy. Took around 30 minutes total. For my 1995 Tacoma I had to buy the relay harness kit also. It’s a Toyota thing so know this before you buy. If you are running the old halogen lights like I was, you will be amazed by the difference of night driving. So far they’re definitely worth the money I spent. The old Sylvania Halogen head lights would last about 8 months on me. Got tired of that so hopefully these will last longer. ... show more

    • Super bright, but don’t blind oncoming traffic.
Put them on my 88 Jeep Wrangler to replace the glass ones and reduce the electrical draw. They were a direct fit, super bright, but not to the point of causing oncoming traffic problems.
