This wireless meat thermometer is exactly what I was looking for, no more lifting the bbq lid and smoking my hand just to check if dinner is ready yet. Very practical and works like a charm. I like the build quality and materials as well. Also, what's very important for me is that it's USB-C rechargeable. There is also a mobile app that alerts you when food is ready, it connects to the thermometer by Bluetooth. My only complaint is that the temperature probe is a bit thick and you need to insert it pretty deeply, but that's on I guess. Gearing up to do some low and slow cooking on my egg grill. I've been using an instant read thermometer, but it messes up the temp every time I check the meat. Enter the wireless thermometer. It has a long range, maybe not 800' but far enough to work well with my grill on the back porch. Charges off usb-c, no issues there. Charging is quick, the probe charges in the base automatically. Accuracy is good, reads the same as my instant read thermometer. Keep in mind this is not designed to be instant, it takes a little bit to acclimate. The sensor is mid way in the body, not the tip, so keep that in mind when placing it. The app had some negative reviews on Goog play. It worked fine for my and connected right up to the thermometer. When you change the temp on the app you see it on the device immediately. I had no issues with the app. It allows you to monitor the temp or run a timer for the cook. Also has several presets for different foods, but I will just plug in what I want to use. Could use a little refinement, but does what it needs to do. No special permission required other than typical bluetooth connection. Also don't need to set up an account to use the app. They also have an online warranty portal to get an extended warranty on it. All in all a great little device. Able to charge and use easily. Charges off usb c with light indicators to let you know when it's fully charged. The thermometer works well and gives accurate readings so it's useful to make sure you know when your meat is cooked. It also comes with an app that you can use to monitor as well which is pretty neat. Does everything you would want it to so I'm pretty happy with it ... show more

I've had some time to use this thermometer now, and I have to say I'm really impressed. The packaging it came in was very nice, but more importantly, the device itself is well made and easy to use. I do more traditional oven cooking, but I let a friend use it for his smoker and he also thought it was a good value. I have wanted one of these for long time, and finally got this one. Let me tell you, it was so worth it. This product works great! It is super easy to use and very accurate. Ilove that is wireless, so i can put the receiver anywhere and I'm not limited by a cord anymore. Plus the app make it super mobile so i can keep an eye on my food from anywhere in my house. Make sure you read all of the inductions so you know how to properly use it. The app is user friendly and I would definitely recommend this. I thought I had meat thermometers all covered until I found out about this product. I can't believe I can actually watch my food cook by looking at an app or the device that comes with this item. I can tell when my meat is ready easily by glancing at the screen. This product has little to no maintenance involved and I didn't mind the price because this is made of steel and will last for years. If you are tired of buying the cheaper meat thermometers over and over like I was, you should try this one. This is more value for the money at a time when money can't be wasted. ... show more
