I wish I would have known prior to ordering this it wasn’t through Amazon prime. Should have checked but now I’m trying to save someone else the trouble. It costs a ridiculous amount to ship back to the sender so we wound up keeping it even though it doesn’t exactly fit our space. I just measured the width not the height and now I have regrets. Honestly it’s well made and if it was tall enough I would love it. Giving it 4 stars just because of their business not providing a return label. ... show more

I originally purchased this screen in March of 2013 so it has been nearly 3 years - I am still very pleased with it. It was much nicer then I originally expected and it has held up really well. After almost 3 years it has one very small dent in the wire mesh - a number of teenagers and several large dogs were being bumptious and it was knocked over. It is also versatile - during the summer the screen is occasionally used as a dog gate to keep creatures off beds - big dogs not teenagers. I am order another one this evening to be used primarily as a creature gate. UPDATE: I'm disappointed. I ordered a 2nd screen because I am very pleased with the first one and it has held up well. I unpacked the new screen and saw that the welds on bottom hinges were broken. When I was repacking the screen and putting return label on the box it became apparent that the screen had been returned before and been sent to me from 'Amazon Warehouse'. Call me crazy but I am going to try again; I like my 1st screen enough and it is perfect for my needs so that I am going to order another one. I am intending to order one that is new, undamaged, not from the discount warehouse. More will be revealed… ... show more

I bought this screen to place in front of a wood burning stove when the doors are open for viewing the fire. It seems as thought it will work perfectly. The center panel ( largest part ) is the exact width of the stove itself. The side hinged panels adjust easily and can be place so the the open doors of the stove are enclosed . The screen should do a very good job of keeping the sparks from escaping the screen. The screen itself is of a lighter weight than my more expensive ones, but that can be expected. The solid black is versatile . Handles would be a nice addition - but might get too warm to be practical. All in all this is a good choice for a neutral style and color - at a pretty good price. ... show more
