We bought this for my 10 yr old son for Christmas since it’s his favorite animal. It was very impressive! Body is plush and the head is firm- with brilliant, lifelike green eyes. My only issue is that the threads have broken and seam is coming undone from just a little hugging in just a week. I would expect a stronger hold for a price like this is. When my granddaughter requested a black panther for her 7th birthday I didn't think I would be able to find one. I was pleasantly surprised to find this one. I have to say, I hesitated to spend the money, but it was well worth it! Pana the Panther (since renamed Shadow) looks like the real thing. . . in fact if you walked into a room, you might do a double-take. Very soft black velvet fabric, and well made. Since I had ordered it so late, we made a game about where the panther was in his journey to my house. The wait was worth it for my granddaughter. . . she loves it!! It is really big, but surprisingly lightweight. He has even had a ride on the swing in our yard! I think this will be a favorite for years to come. If they have other animals that the grandkids are interested in, I would probably order again. ... show more

Overall this product was pretty good, but there are a couple of problems. My Panthers head is angled down and I cant get it to be faced forward as it should. Also the ears are pretty floppy, and too big, they cant stay up so they say down. I look like I got a sad panther. :(
