Works better than sanding bands which can dull out or heat up the nail quick. This definitely takes off dip/acrylic powder way quicker than my other drill bits. Only warning would be to be take your time & be super careful to avoid cutting yourself. You can cut yourself with any bit/band but this one will definitely leave a mark. 😦 ... show more

Love this product!!! I used to take forever to drill the acrylic off my nails and this tiny thing cut my time in half. It is very sharp, so you do have to be careful.

I love this drill bit!!! It seals and smooths the acrylic so well. I thought I wouldn’t like it because it was fine but it’s amazing. I did read reviews about it being way to sharp so when I got it I scored the top edges of the drill bit on a rough surface to smooth it out and now it’s perfect!!! No cutting me or my clients! I personally will not be using this bit again. This is way too sharp for me. I ended up cutting my client badly and myself. It’s so incredible sharp even if you’re going at a slow speed. It does the job I want but too sharp :(

If you are still a newbie like me, just be careful. It is very sharp. I cut myself around the cuticles several times... lol. So be careful. Its worth every penny. So affordable. Good for cleaning up and drilling down shellac polishes etc.

I purchased a fine carbide and a 5-1 carbide. They are perfect for smoothing and shaping. The fine carbide that doesn’t have red, is sharp. I love them and I will be buying more of the other carbides as well.
