Description

The Switchblade can be mounted in minutes and can be removed just as easily to allow full bed access. The Pace Edwards Switchblade is designed with a Continuous Tension Spring that allows the cover to roll in or out of the canister smoothly. This spring action is also what allows you to operate this cover from either side with one hand. The tonneau cover is made of aluminum panels bonded with Pace's patented ArmorTek. ArmorTek is a padded weather resistant polymer. This layer is bonded right to the aluminum panels and gives the truck bed cover a in.soft Topin. look and feel without compromising on security. A full width handle and pull strap are also included for your convenience. Installation of the Switchblade is like no other cover in its class. The only tools you need are a 7/16in. wrench and a Phillips head screwdriver. The best part about the Switchblade is that it can be uninstalled and bundled up with an included storage strap for storage when you need your full truck bed.

This is the second Switchblade I have had. So happy with first, bought second for new truck. Very easy to install and works as expected for years.

    • Piece of crap -Don't buy - No customer service
Leaks like a sieve! Piece of crap! Drain tubes block storage. Get a flip-top that really seals. Customer service extremely poor! End caps came in with cracked rubber, never did get them replaced. Send e-meal with no reply! Poor sealing everywhere and if you need something weather tight - Don't buy! Also blocks storage compared to flip-top just as a bak-flip!     • Nice cover but not easy to install as a one man band
Product arrived earlier than expected. Unfortunately the one box came on Tuesday and the second on Wednesday. Not sure why they need to ship it in 2 boxes but in fairness it was a Fed X issue not the company. Took roughly 2 hours to get it on. The directions are essentially worthless. They are incomplete and unclear. Fortunately there was a You Tube video that was exactly my truck so I used that. It is a bit Klugy in terms of attachment but frankly the other 2 tops I had for different trucks were similar in their gerry-rigged attachment. This one slides nicely and is much better than the trifolds I had before. Much easier to access stuff in the far end of the bed. Tolerances are quite tight and provide little measure for error. It is expensive and somewhat difficult to install for which I deducted 1 star. It looks nice but I have questions on the water tightness and durability. The top doesn't seem like it could bare much weight but I suspect even wet snow will be OK in Tahoe. ... show more

This was everything I wanted in my cover. The only reason I have given it a 4 out of 5 stars is because it is not as waterproof as I would like. I still have to put tailgate seal in to finish, but if the manufacturer would simply put the same seal they have for the tailgate on the end of the side rails (tailgate end) instead of a simple bump pad, it would make it even better. Other than that, and I can work around that with my own seal job, this is a great cover for the price. Time can only tell now if it will last. ... show more
