This is working great and eliminated the engine whine and speaker pop I had when wiring high level inputs directly to my amp for mids and highs. Only thing issue I had was installation. The print instructions are different than their website PDF instructions. When installing this to convert speaker (high) outputs into RCAs (line) for your amp, it appears you are to not use the constant power (yellow) and remote wire (blue) and the ground is optional per online PDF. The print instructions that came with the unit picture these as connections you need to make and when I did, my head unit wouldn't shut off and was getting power even with the key out of the ignition.     • Two different ones, both had channel failure
Ordered to install in '22 Harley to add an amp. First one failed immediately on left rear channel. Ordered a replacement (warranty), went thru headache of soldering in all the wiring, and after 20 minutes, dropped right rear channel. Either internals can't handle a measly 25 watt line level input, or they just use cheap components. Ordered the Schosche unit, wired right in, and works excellent. ... show more

Should've bought the lp7-4 first instead of an ebay line out converter. Eliminated alternator whine and stopped the pop noise when turning my radio on and off
