My old mirror dash cam went out and I got this for a replacement. The connectivity was easy to set up, I didn’t have to change anything to have the connectivity working. Everything that came with the package is all I had to use for setting up, even the cable length was long enough for the setup. The camera doesn’t take too much battery for operate like my old one did, I had to have an external battery attached. The quality of the videos and pictures were sharpe and crystal clear, I didn’t have to worry about the details recorded. It even works well during low light situations, nighttime and during sunny days. The style matches my SUV interior and the size of the camera is the perfect size. Something that the description doesn't mention is a huge safety hazard! The mirror does not angle down for low-light driving. Headlights from behind blind the driver, making it impossible to drive at night with this mirror camera installed. Daytime driving isn't an issue: mirror looks great and the camera quality is exceptional. Easy to use interface on screen and connected quickly to the app, which also has a user-friendly interface. Also purchased the hardwire kit: simple install and now able to monitor activity around the vehicle while parked. Only reason for returning this item is the night-time driving issue as I primarily drive in low light conditions for work. I will be exchanging this one for another style from the brand so that i can keep the hardwire kit installed. ... show more

User interface and settings are garbage. Can't set it up to record when car starts moving. Camera is so heavy that it makes the factory mirror vibrate which makes for horrible recording and ability to see in it. Rear camera is grainy.
