  • Went through 4 storms the first night camping!!
We absolutely love this tent! The first night out, about 9pm, storms started rolling through area. Four storms by 6 am had passed through, most being in the severe range. Not one puddle in this tent. A bit of condensate as you touched the walls. Nothing crazy. Its a dark tent, dont be surprised when you sleep longer than you thought. Very roomy, easy to set up and tear down. We are buying one for each of our kids. ... show more

  • My favorite tent especially for a one person setup
I've had this tent 3 years and am in love. I camp by myself or with friends but have my own setup. I'm getting too old to have to crawl in a tent anymore. Big enough for a queen air mattress and space to walk around. Takes less than 5 minutes for me to set up by myself. Blackout keeps it much cooler during the day, and LOVE the windows in the rain fly so you can see the stars at night with the vents unzipped. ... show more

  • Great tent worth the money with a tiny design flaw
I love this tent so don't get me wrong!!!! but there is a design issue. The poles where they connect are able to move, When we had a gust of wind and( its Very windy where I am great for product testing )the tent collapsed on the side the wind was blowing. Now just to be clear the side where the tent collapsed was where the wind was coming from .Easy to set backup. just lifted under the rain fly. Then the next day the other side collapsed. I had the rain flap was secure with stakes .So' design people. I am a engineer and can help with this problem. Redesign the elbows that the 2 poles go into. Make it so that cant twist either way. a screw in each of the poles would stop it. Then this issue would not happen. I read that the bottom of the tent was leaking on these tents so before assembly I sprayed silicon spray and had no issues. Make sure however when it rains you have( ALL) of the side screens zipped up. The top for ventilation you can leave open. Great tent but these elbows have to be fitted with screws so the pole don't move. The other thing 2 people fit comfortably with 2 Cots. They state is was a 6 person tent.NO WAY!! 2 people max. Finally I used a tarp, then laid the tent on top then assembled. Great for the price..!!! ... show more

  • Holds in corners and on side of tent
Not sure if I got a refurbished tent by mistake but we set it up for the camping trip and multiple holes were found as the sun came up. We didn't notice them as we were setting up since it was dusk and we were all getting tired but as the sun rose the tent showed its poor quality. Tape seams that seemed retaped maybe or just poorly done. The small holes were in the corner seam and the side wall, luckily it hadn't rained the night. These things aside, it wasn't a bad layout. Door was centered allowing for a single air mattress on each side. The height was short and the netting they provide would literally be 4 ft off the ground. It also prevents the use of the light loop. So you can either hang a light from the center or have the netting for your phones and items but not both. The zipper for the door has no center spike to assist holding the door while you open and close it. And the rain cap has a weird "sun roof" type plastic to see out of the screen at night but all it did was condensate and drip in the early morning sun. It's a good size but ours must have been a refurbished one because I can't picture a new one being this way. It also is NOT light to carry. ... show more

  • I Don't Recommend this Tent
Don't bother with this tent. Unless you duct tape the poles at every connection point, there is still no way even 2 people could raise this tent. Supposedly, this tent is big enough to sleep 4. You'll need every one of them, and a roll of duct tape, to have even a slim chance of raising this tent.
