My young toddler was grabbing at the adult forks and spoons from our hands desperate to feed himself. I got these so he could actually hold them, which he did on first try. He’s still working on the fork skills but the spoon was just right. He also likes to gnaw on the handles while teething (supervised). I bought these after reading tons of other reviews and glad I did. I felt like the child would outgrow the ones that have a little guard/shield thing where the fork or spoon meet the handle, and I didn’t like the prospect of mold, biting off of silicone/rubber fork tines or other issues reviewers noted about other products. I like OXO products generally and was glad to see another well designed product from them (no I did not get a free product or anything to say that, I just tend to like their kitchen gear). ... show more

We really like these silverware for our daughter she is used them since she was about nine months old. She can hold them really well and the fork is not sharp but it still goes in her food easily so she can pick it up. The handles are easily chewed up so just be careful with that.

I love this set for my grandchildren, they are so easy to use and pick up food. The forks teeth are staggered so it’s easy to keep the food on them from plate to mouth! The handles are perfect for a 2 year old to hold! I highly recommend this product!

The spoon part is pretty big for my baby's mouth. I don't really like the metal either because if it sits in a bowl of hot food, it gets too hot for baby's mouth. Love the size and design, really easy for my son to hold and use, deep enough to hold soup and oatmeal in the spoon and curve of the fork makes it easy to keep the noodles and other slippery food intact. Dishwasher safe is definitely a big plus. Recommended!
