We have two of the original POP containers, and they are outstanding, both the quality of the container material, and the seal of the containers are outstanding, very high quality! We wanted an additional container, larger, and thinking how happy we were with the originals, we ordered a larger container without a close look. Turns out that the original "POP Containers" must have been too good, and too successful, because it appears that OXO's "cost reduction team" found it necessary to re-engineer/redesign the Lids and Seal. This "newer" version of the "POP Containers" still works fairly well, but is not even close when it comes to the quality of the originals. We are quite disappointed! Mine seal well. I've experimented with marshmallows storing 1/2 the bag in this and 1/2 in the original bag with a twist tie. After two weeks the bagged marshmallows are sticky but the ones in this container are as fresh as the day I put them in. A few years ago, after getting a horrendous infestation of weevils, I bought several pop top containers. More recently I purchased a couple of these with the newer top design that are narrower than my older ones. I have fairly small hands and tendinitis and, for me, the narrower containers are more comfortable to handle. I absolutely love these storage containers! They are aesthetically pleasing, keeps food fresh, and are so fun to open and close. I love that they are kid friendly so my 4 year old can grab a snack if I am in the middle of something and can’t grab it for her. 10/10!

My mom has gotten to where she has a tough time closing so many of the storage containers. So many of them that are airtight are hard for her to close so that the air tightness works. These are so simple, just push the button. Thank you for the solution for our family.

So far, so good for storing our flour. It's easy to clean and there's enough room to also keep a measuring cup in it for easy use. As far as we can tell, it's totally airtight and should keep our flour fresh for a lot longer than just sitting in a bag.

Here in CA we now have to separate our food scraps and place them in yard recycling bins. Was looking for a countertop container for this and all of them were ridiculously expensive. I bought the recyclable bags and this container and it works great.
