    • most infuriating product I've ever owned.

this is expenisve, it took like 8 tries to get the camera synced and connected, its lags so badly, often I have to turn it off and then back on for it to work. the app is only compatible with phones for some reason, i have n iPhone but if I'm washing dishes or pumping in the kitchen I wanted to watch it on my MacBook or my fire tablet, NOPE. can't even watch it on my surface pro cause I've already synced the camera with my outlook instead of my gmail, MAYBE it works with an ipad or android tablet, I'm not wasting more money to find out. Ill just kill my phone battery then I guess. I hate this thing, the sock won't even sync. its crap.. expensive infuriating difficult crap. for as much as this stupid crap costs the app should be available in the amazon store or in iTunes for laptops as well. don't buy it, buy something cheaper that will have the same crappy quality. Follow up I have up on syncing the sock. It’s never connected and I was losing my mind with it. So frustrating. Owlet has also made an update on the cry clips, before you could view the last 7 days I believe (maybe it was 2, pretty sure it was 7 tho) of saved clips before they expired, you could pay a subscription to view the last 14 days as well. but without warning with an automatic update (love not having choice 😒) you can’t only now only view the clips from the current day. And pay a subscription to view more. Which is annoying and honestly predatory on owlets end. They market these products as a way to bring peace and reduce stress to new parents, but really they offer a subpar frustrating product and try and monetize on that stress with extra subscriptions and taking away perks without warning.
