I bought this enclosure to protect my vegetable/fruit garden from the numerous small animals and birds that like to dine on my produce and it's worked great. Of course it's not designed to keep out a bear or mountain lion but for the price it's worked great for my needs. It was delivered in two boxes and actually arrived early. Some have complained that the boxes arrived at different times, but if the box with the metal frame comes first you can at least build the structure before the second box, which contains the chicken wire, arrives. I built the entire structure by myself and it was quite easy, just follow the instructions. It even has instructions for putting on the chicken wire which, according to other reviews I've read, some other metal enclosure kits don't have. You can even put the chicken wire on by yourself if you have too but I had someone help me to save time. I've been very pleased with the quality of the materials and it's actually sturdier than I expected once I added the optional corner braces. There were only two (2) minor negatives. One of the metal joints that receives the metal tube was bent inward but I was easily able to bend it out with some pliers in a few minutes. The other negative is the kit was missing two (2) brackets needed to hang the entry door. Now, it's been my experience that a lot of the various kits with dozens of pieces you buy on Amazon or elsewhere will invariably have a few pieces missing or damaged. What becomes important in those instances is the vendors customer service. In my case with this product it's been outstanding. I emailed them and Alex responded back immediately and then shipped out the brackets the next day. Quite frankly, the customer service couldn't have been better. The media could not be loaded. This enclosure is super light weight, making it easy to move frequently. Our ducks like to search for bugs and worms, so we water down the yard for them when they aren't out exploring the pond. It makes a safe place for them, and houses not only the 2 ducks, but 2 bunnies as well ( they were sleeping in the hutch we built). As you can see we also let our house cat hang out with them occasionally for some outside time. It's great size is perfect for multiple animals. My daughter can easily get in and around the hutch for feeding and cleaning, and we've collected many eggs as well 😊 ... show more

Updated: I would still stay away from this design if you live in an area with any type of precipitation as the tarp will collect the water/snow and cause structural issues. That said, when I reached out to the seller about the issues, they responded quickly and resolved the issue 100%. I would not hesitate to buy from this seller, I would just not buy this particular design. I have been battling with the flat roof on this run since the first time it rained. You are unable to pull the wire tight enough to prevent sags in the tarp, leading to water collection. I have to go out after every rain event and siphon the top of the tarp. Yesterday was a pretty major rain event we got about 2 inch of rain overnight. I came out to find the run was destroyed this morning. No saving this, it is not scrap. The top tubing is bent in half to the point of no return. I have 3 other runs that are similar to this, but without the flat roof design, no issues with them. Stay clear of this one unless you live in a dessert ... show more

Was quite delighted that I received all the parts with explicit well written directions with picture diagrams. Put it together in an afternoon, was surprised at how well made and nice looking it is. Just might purchase another one. Excellent value.

Yes it easy to build and install but first and foremost the metal plate link where all rusted and the drilled holes made it a but hard to slide the poles in. secondly not everything is labeled like the metal base plates, you have to look at the picture and guess its the right one. i’d opt for a home made one. just terrible quality ... show more

Very mad. Order this in April to make sure I was ready to put together and have for my chickens. Went to put it together and 1. Definitely not enough zip ties and 2. Ran out of wire 3/4 of the way done ! We followed the directions 100% Now have to run to the store and get more wire. Very mad yes for the reason to stop and go to the store but I have to spend more $. Was trying to save when buying this 😡 ... show more

We purchased this outdoor run for our new flock of chickens. We purchased the 10x20 design. So far we are extremely pleased. We purchased extra zip ties for security. We are also creating a more secure base so predators cannot dig under the edge. The tarp provided is nice for shade and protecting our chicken coop on the back. Pros: 1. Sturdy design 2. Straightforward directions and assembly 3. Customizable 4. Arrived quickly and as advertised 5. Easy to move if you want to rotate your chicken yard. Keep in mind: 1. Does take 2 people to put together. 2. Not predator proof unless you take extra precautions 3. Chicken wire can be a challenge to get in place. ... show more

It looked fine, size was good, but unfortunately my husband covered the whole thing with a tarp and one rainfall (that really wasn’t bad) made it fall in. The pieces completely snapped or bent. He even reinforced it with wood and other more durable pieces beforehand.
