Wanted to wait till we took this little guy out a few times. It is absolutely phenomenal!!!!! It's light weight and fits in our mini off road camper with ease. We hook up a full size propane tank to it and on medium it lasts us all weekend the lava rocks fill it nicely and hold heat for about 30 mins after we turn off the fire. We have roasted marshmallow, drank around it, and used it to knock of the morning chill. If something were to ever happen to it I would buy this exact same one over and over it is perfect!!!! ... show more

I was skeptical but I bought this after camping in the Southwest and having wood fire restrictions. I have a Solo Stove I love for wood fire. But we used this and it may get the nod just purely for convenience and less cleanup. We also used it to cook pie iron pizza and marshmallow smores. It works perfect for it. Finally it comes with a nice case. My only recommendation would be a metal cover to keep the rocks secured. I cut and made a carboard one and plan to replace with wood or metal. My friends tried to talk me into a very expensive propane fire pit. I decided to shop around and found this one. What a great firepit! No more smelling like campfire and i can easily start up and shut it down. Great for anytime you want to just sit by a fire for a bit. I reside in the mountains for Co so we see a lot of firebans. We liked that it was all put together all you had to do was add the lava rocks, but even those bags were labeled with the order to place them. The gas fire pit has a beautiful glow to it.
