I took this camping with me, and slept in it for 2 nights in a row. The trees I strapped it to were a little far apart, so I ended up tying the added rope around the trees, and putting the rope through the loops in the straps to get some added length. I'm kinda a hefty guy, but I was more worried about my own knots than the hammock collapsing. Having the mosquito net out in the woods makes a world of difference if you don't want to get eaten alive by bugs while you sleep. I will say that the pack is rather large to fit basically double the material of a regular hammock, so packing it in a hiking backpack did take up a lot of space in my bag, but I was only going for 2 nights with some friends, so I wasn't too worried about it. I'm looking forward to getting to use this again. The only thing I will say is that under my weight, the bottom half stretched a bit, and laying down didn't give me a super clear view of outside (staring at the stars and such) but all in all, I'm glad I bought it ... show more

I ordered two of these hammocks but only one came as pictured and with everything the description advertised. The other hammock is missing the tree straps so I can’t hang it and there are no zipper pulls so there’s no way to lay in it and use the mosquito net, which is the whole reason I bought the hammock! Huge disappointment because the one I received with all described components is pretty good, considering the price. Net stays out of your face and the whole thing is very roomy. I hope the seller corrects their mistakes and sends me a new one. ... show more

My kids loved this hammock, while it lasted. We brought it camping last week for it’s 1st use. Install was so easy, kids could do it. Loved the netting to keep bugs out however the zipper got caught on 2nd day and ripped the netting. The “hoop” part on the end of one side came out repeatedly so that got annoying by day 4-5. It did hold kids and adults perfectly without budging at all so liked that. Liked it a lot but won’t last very long as is. ... show more
