I was looking for white only lights that had very low dim lights... all the way up to very bright white lights. I really wanted the option to adjust the tempature of the lights. This item has the best temperature range, in one set of lights, in my opinion. Most other lights were either mostly all dim. Or mostly all bright. The remote is wonderful. I can change the mood of the entire room with just a click of a button. The dim light gives off a soft calming amber glow to my entertainment center in the evenings, and at night. The brightest setting light up my entertainment center even in the mid-day sunlight. I have lots of windows in my living room. I get a lot of great compliments on the lights. I highly recommend these lights for the best range of temperatures settings. And they were easy to work with and maneuver around corners. They bend easily with no problems. The sticky on the back side is pretty good too. I did use rubbing alcahol on the wood before I applied the lights. That probably helped some too. I'm installing this on the underside of an outdoor railing. adhesion strips won't work on treated lumber and there are only 12 clips for 50 feet of lights. and the clips do not secure tightly so there is considerable sag. would buy more clips is there was any way to reach the manufacturer. but as is the case with stuff from china there is no customer support. ... show more

The Tendist strip lights are good quality and very bright. The lights are encased in a protective sheathing. There are clips to mount the lights and zip ties. All the components are good quality and included in the box. No need to purchase anything else to have functioning lights. I like that they plug into an electrical outlet instead of being solar. They are energy efficient. The lights are very bright, and the colors are nice if you desire that feature. We have not installed these yet due to the weather, but we are looking forward to using them around the patio area where some light is needed and solar isn’t practical, especially in the winter. There is an outlet available. The remote works as stated. I will revise if there are any problems with the install. ... show more

Tendist Waterproof LED Self adhesive strip Light. It's a major disappointment that it's not 1 continuous strand. If I wanted two 50' strands that's what I would've bought. 1. It's NOT 1 continuous 100ft strip 2. You can't use the full 100ft unless you have a power outlet in the middle of where you are putting them 3. The app does not work in 5G phones 4. The power adapter is not waterproof Each roll is 50 feet with the power cord in the middle. So if you want to hang the weatherproof lights on a fence you'll need an outlet in the middle of the fence ... show more

A very convenient kit for a long LED run. One nice thing is this is a single long LED string, not several different strings that need to be connected. The string is nice and bright, the remote works well, and it connects to wifi easily. Probably the most difficult part is getting the string into pairing mode, which isn't really difficult, just kind of cumbersome to plug/unplug the power supply quickly enough to induce pairing. Also the light only blinks 5 times to indicate pairing made which stays active for about 30 seconds, unlike most controls which blink consistently until pairing is achieved. The only other downside is it uses the Surplife app which is proprietary as opposed to an app like Smartlife or Smarthings which are more universal. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice to not have to install and keep track of another smart app. ... show more

This light strip checked a lot of boxes for me. It has color tuning capability, it's outdoor rated, and it can be remotely controlled. Lights can be dimmed over a wide range and the remote is easy enough to use. As is often the case on LED strip, the adhesive quality is hit or miss, so be prepared to add some glue or sticky tape, especially if you're applying to a surface that isn't perfectly smooth such ad the underside of a wooden deck railing.
