Electrician here. I am a little confused. I read all of the other Vine reviews and they all seem to praise the product for its various features, all true; superior construction, thick glass, rust resistant... blah, blah, blah... They are indeed attractive coach lights even if being of the most standard design and somewhat smaller than other coach lights of similar (if not exact) form. Here's my problem: My first image is a screenshot taken directly from the product page. According to this image, these fixtures are dusk to dawn, meaning there is a photocell to detect light and open the circuit when that light is detected. A switch, if one will, that automatically turns the light on at night and off again during the day. As one can see from the back of the canopy (my second image), no switch leg is present. No photocell is present. The lights must have a user-provided means of control. IF the photocell were present, it might justify the above average list price for a pair coach lights. Without it, the only justification is the "rust-proof" claim and the coated stainless-steel construction. Why didn't any other reviewers comment about this blatant misrepresentation? I could have been horrible and given a single star for this review. I did not. They are good coach lights. The seller just needs to remove that image from the product page. Nowhere else, and I mean NOWHERE else, in the product description does the seller claim dusk to dawn capabilities. UPDATE: After seeing my review, the seller reached out to me, verified that these were indeed NOT dusk to dawn fixtures, and promised to remove the misrepresentative and misleading image from the product page. I checked myself and the image is gone. This review began as a three-star review because of that false claim. Since the false claim is no longer there, I have changed the review to five-star. Current shoppers would not even be aware of the issue at all unless they read my entire review. These coaches are still a little pricey; but, one gets that for which one pays. I have 2 front doors because the first one leads to a porch then another leads inside. I had recently replaced the light fixture next to my "outside" door and wanted to find a similar style of light fixtures to go next to my porch/entry door. These fit the bill. Although they are not dust to dawn like my other fixture, the style and quality appears to be on par. I cannot speak to the install process since I had my brother install them for me, but it seems he was able to do it quickly and easily. They definitely give a more modern look to my porch area and allow for a lot of light since there are not a lot of obstructions around the glass portion. Now I just need to clean my siding to make it look new to match my new light fixtures. Definitely recommend! ... show more

I'll start by saying these fixtures were larger than I was expecting. The dimensions are provided in the product description and in one of the pictures, so that's on me for not checking. Perhaps this is the style nowadays but I just wanted to point that out for anyone reading the reviews. In any case, these are well-constructed and look clean and contemporary. These take the standard E26 base bulbs, but I wound up getting longer style bulbs to help fill the fixture better, because I felt like the standard size bulbs looked comically small in it. The fixtures were easy to install and look great. I'll update my review if I notice any rust/corrosion start to develop. ... show more
