I purchased these lights for our deck. I really like the lights as a whole but would suggest purchasing replacement bulbs. I have had these lights up for approximately a month and they are lit for 2 hours in the morning and 3 at night so about 150 hours and there are 5 led bulbs that are now out. The bulb shape is better in my opinion than the elongated lights on almost all the other strings out there. Nice soft light. Thin glass is better than plastic for the bulbs, but they're very fragile. And where does one find replacement bulbs??

    • Well it's NOT weatherproof!
I got my new lights on 12/12 and put hung out on my patio that same was happy to see them work so well and it looked so nice that night. So it rain the next day 12/13, so that night I was checking out my new lights, half of them stop working. I was so pissed! I so reread the description again, just make sure I didn't make any mistake and it does read outdoor lights and waterproof. Just straight up crap! ... show more

I love the way these look, and I wanted to really like these lights. Unfortunately they have only been up a few months and are already burning out. Three of 25 are already burnt out and I’m sure replacing a few will be about the same price as the string set. I would say these are not great for long exposure to the elements as the bulbs don’t seem to be made for it, but hey what do I know? These have been under a covered patio for about three months and have held up overall. The bulbs appear to be the real issue here as the defect seems to be in the base, I’m sure it’s some type of resistor that is cheaply made causing the issue because LEDs don’t just fail. If you need these for a few parties they’ll likely be great as they surely to look nice! ... show more

I got these to replace other LED lights I had in the patio. I wanted the same as before. A nice mood set. These are not that. These are so bright that I had to unscrew every other light which defeats a lot of my purpose. That being said, if you want a lot of light, well then, here ya go! If you want a nice mood enhancer, these will not do. Although they do what they claim, I'm sadly going to remove them and toss them just because I have no use for them. Or, I might try to find replacement bulbs that are much dimmer. ... show more

    • Don't hold up in rain
When I initially strung these lights up over the yard I loved them. Perfect brightness (warm, soft light), bulbs were well spaced apart and I appreciated the longer lead wire length. However, the next day it rained and when I turned on the lights the day after, most were flickering and a few lights did not work at all. Definitely not suitable in open areas where it might rain, however; I'd still recommend them for gazebos and others areas that have an overhang and where the lights won't get wet.
