  • 4.5 out of 5 stars
Size: 5x3 FT/Base
The build quality is pretty good. It took me about 8- 8-10 hours with only one person to put this together. The longest part was the first couple steps because you really need two people for the first couple of steps. It looks great! It is not 97 pounds. I can actually lift the thing by myself. It also gives you stakes that you can attach to the bottom frame to nail into the grass if need be. I am on a concrete patio so I don’t need it. Big Positive All of the holes were cut exactly down the measurement within millimeters. I was very surprised by how well geometrically everything fit together. With that said the last step by putting on the doors were a bit crooked, but I was easily able to manipulate it to make it work. It looks very waterproof, but I am on a covered patio so I don’t need that for the future. There is a clear film over the entire surfaces of each piece. I imagine the heat shrinked for the case of shipping, however, it’s nearly impossible to remove without a lot of frustration. I just left it on there because it provides more waterproofing so to speak. But after a while, it will peel kind of like after a really bad sunburn. All and off a very good shed just took a while to set up and I would definitely say you need two people to start off. Directions could’ve been a bit clearer and step 12-17 when beginning to put on the roof. Especially for peace, L, M1, M2, M3, M4 pieces Q1 as you have to go through multiple pieces of sheet metal with one screw. In the case of going through multiple pieces of sheet metal it would’ve been nice to have a longer or different type of screw. Either way it’s all together and I do like the screw caps as well to prevent rusting as well as protecting your hands from getting scratched. I got Amazon basic shelves to put inside and I also got a piece of 1 inch plywood to put on the bottom to make a flat surface. Just go to Lowe’s to get a piece of plywood. All and all good purchase for roughly about $150. I would just include a floor next time. ... show more

  • Hope you like screwing!
Size: 5x3 FT/Base
This shed is well thought out however it’s not quite as easy to assemble as I had hoped. Tons of small screws so plan on a couple days for assembly. After two days I’m still putting it together so my final review is pending. Hey what do you want for $100!

  • Takes two people at least 3 to 4 hours to install (it took us 8 hours)
Size: 5x3 FT/Base
I got the 5x3ft version with the base. I expected to do some assembly, but didn't realize until I saw the instructions that it needs at least two people and takes 3 to 4 hours to assemble. Additional tools like a level, electric drill, L-frame/right angle square, ladder and measuring tape are required and not provided. Instruction booklet and photos are ok, but lacks details and specific alignment instructions. It needs at least two people and ended up being a full day of assembly for us. It took me and my helper over 8 hours to get it all assembled. The base material is very thin sheet metal that's been shaped and formed. The primary connectors are brass phillips-head screws with plastic washers. The screws are intended to cut directly through the sheet metal aligned against pilot holes that are much smaller than the screw. It works, but I'm not a fan of that assembly method. A mistake with screwing/positioning can't be fixed since the screw cuts into the sheet metal and deforms it--unscrewing leaves a big hole that can't be reused to screw back in. There are some hex nuts, bolts, a few other connectors, but the brass screws are the majority of what's holding the panels together. It's very flimsy before assembly due to being thin sheet metal, but should stand on its own once fully assembled. I have it standing against a brick wall on two sides to help brace it during heavy winds, since I don't trust that it'll be standing on its own. The base doesn't have anything to lock it into the ground and it's not as bottom heavy as it should be. I have not had this long enough to comment on how it stands up against the weather. I don't fully trust the base to survive long if it's in contact with water--I expect either the sheet metal to rust or the brass screws to corrode. I'll have to see how well it stands after the rains and snow get to it over this winter. ... show more

  • Needs better illustrations
Size: 5x3 FT/Base
Illustrations need better detail as it is hard to see exactly how a piece is oriented. Needs more instructions narrative.

  • adorable she-shed
Size: 5x3 FT/Base
I call this a she-shed because it is a little small. That said, this is absolutely perfect for storing all your gardening tools or in my case, all the items for the pool. It is super cute and not too difficult to set up. We are going to add it to the deck once we are done building it so we can grab things for the pool from it. + ... show more

  • Flimsy and frustrating
Size: 6x4 FT
We are about half done and it’s been frustrating. The whole structure is very flimsy and it’s very hard to get things lined up. I’m dreading putting on the roof as it looks to require another 40 screws attached from the top, no idea how we will line those up. The instructions aren’t the worst but are still vague. Wish they had a video. Ultimately I don’t see this lasting more than a year or two. And yes, every piece is covered with plastic wrap which is awful. Probably will take another two hours just to take that all off. ... show more
