The shade is good quality. I ended up making it "permanent" instead of installing the hardware to fold the shade up because it was just too hard. The plastic pieces have to line up on both sides of the shade in order to facilitate the fold and I tried, but just gave up on trying to get it where it need to be. When I got one side lined up, the other moved, and it was too dark to make a mark. I bought it to block dust mostly, and it is on the sun side, so I attached at the top, attached the middle rod on one side, then attached by the rings at the bottom. I did it by myself using a screw gun, so that is much easier than manual screwdrivers. The shade looks good. ... show more

Our patio window lets the sun shine in brightly in the morning and we were looking for a solution to stopping the blinding light that left glares on our TV and other devices. That's when we found the Bynbbur Outdoor Folding Shade that's affordable and surprisingly easy to install. The shade came in a smaller box than we expected because it's folded nicely and the hanging bar is in sections. We followed the instructions and found it easy enough to install. It's definitely a TWO-person job at minimum. Several components need to be lined up and screwed in, which would be no easy job to do alone on a shade this size. We installed it outside our patio door, and given the quality of the material, I have no doubt it'll last for years. One caveat: After receiving it, we discovered the bar needed to be hung about 6-8 inches ABOVE the door so it would stay out of sight from inside when it's rolled up. That leaves extra space uncovered at the bottom of the door. When you order, I recommend ordering a size about a foot longer than you think you need so you can mount it nice and high. Oh! Bonus: It comes with a nice rod that you can use to hook/unhook the shade even if you can't reach it. Recommended! ... show more
