I have had this heater for over two weeks and it never worked. I have sent three emails back and forth with the company and still have no satisfaction. The heater will not lite so I haven’t been able to use it. The phone number that came in the heater box doesn’t work so I cannot talk to anyone at the company. I would not recommend anyone buy a heater or anything from this company. Also per Amazon the heater it not returnable. So no help there either. ... show more

This heater came with plastic film around the stainless steel pieces. Removing this film was the most frustrating part of assembly. It was a quick assembly so long as you follow the directions and really look at the piece placement. I got interrupted by my toddler and ended up having to fix some minor mistakes. Once this was assembled, it was very simple to use. It really puts out a lot of heat. I like that there is a simple table underneath to hold drinks. I like this outdoor heater a lot. It’s simple and well made. Not really very complicated and has one improvement over the other one we bought last year. The one that we have had in our backyard for almost a year now is hard to change the propane tank. You have to actually lift up the whole base of it to remove the tank from the bottom. We would have one of us hold up the shell cover of the base to be able to let the other person exchange the tank. However this one It’s so much easier. It just has a door that has a latch on it that you can open and close to put the tank in it. It’s so much simpler. Very easy for me to do it myself without needing my husband’s help. The body has a matte paint not glossy. There is a small table that attaches to the body as well, maybe for drinks if you are entertaining. It’s simple to put together and maybe takes 25min to get all the pieces together. It comes with a wrench but you will need a screwdriver as well. Like many of these it’s very light without the propane tank so a strong wind could knock it over unless you have a full tank in it. I would recommend a heat shield to direct the heat if you buy one of these since it’s a great accessory. For years I’ve wanted a heater for the backyard. After having one I quickly saw the need to have a second one in another area of the backyard. It really makes a difference because it lets us use the yard almost year round now.
