This mandolin comes with 10 blades for a lot of different options. I was a bit confused of how to use it right out of the box and nicked my finger on a blade just a tad, but oh boy did it bleed! I've used it for mushrooms, potatoes and carrots so far and the thicknesses are perfect for what I wanted. It comes with a "holder" for slicing vegetables safely and a cleaning brush.
