Installed a couple of these in a couple of vehicles and for the price, wow! Can't be beat. Apple Carplay & Android Auto work great. Features are good. Touchscreen is responsive, but not like your higher end models, but it's great for the budget car audio person.

If you're using factory for studies this might be a good stereo for you. It does have sub frequency controls which is probably the only reason I gave it 2 stars. Screen did not dim enough for night driving(I had to cover it up) it advertises 300w (peak) but rms is maybe 30w. It won't push 23 year old pioneer 6.5s without loud on. Even then it won't get as loud as a factory setup. This could be solved by adding input source volume like BOSS has. Screen size is great but reading street names in Google maps is not great as it's blurry. The front USB is nice if a cable goes bad, but not if you like to have a clean install. All in all the BOSS bcpa10 is a better choice ... show more

Save your money!! I installed this unit in my boat on the bridge. It worked very well for about 3 trips but then just quit unexpectedly. I purchased the unit in April but didn’t get to finish installing it until late June so now the support window is closed so it looks like I’m stuck with it. It has a lot of great features and was relatively easy to install but I was hoping to get at least a few years out of it. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!! It looks like a good deal but it really isn’t. Spend the extra money for a brand name one that won’t die after using it a few times. ... show more

    • Nice head unit if you can get all of the advertised features workin.
I installed this unit into my 2014 Tundra utilizing a CRUX wiring adapter. The stereo itself is great with a nice big adjustable screen. The issue I have is Soundstreams customer service. I was having an issue getting the steering wheel control working which I figured was an issue with my wiring or the CRUX adapter. I double checked everything with CRUX & all installed properly. I then contacted SoundStream which took a week for them to reply that I had to deal with CRUX. CRUX assured me it was not their equipment. I re-contacted SoundStream & they replied that the head unit must be replaced. I contacted their returns dept for an RMA & they said because it was purchased through Amazon they could replace & I would have to go through Amazon. Unfortunately by that time it was past the return period so I am stuck with a not fully functional unit. Buyer beware. ... show more

El radio se ve muy bien pero no funciona el CarPlay tampoco el Android auto aunque trae los símbolos en la pantalla y la descripción especifica que trae ese servicio no funciona de ninguna manera. Además se reclamó a servicio al cliente Amazon se escribió mensaje al vendedor nunca respondió, una semana después servicio al cliente de Amazon autorizó la devolución han pasado 15 días y no han realizado la devolución del dinero. Overall I like it works great with my Backup camera. Android auto will randomly reset though and I can't figure out why, sometimes it doesn't for a while sometimes it's constantly happening.
