I became an instant fan and supporter of Oukitel after I bought their 7-inch android smartphone called K9 back in 2019. After 5 years, it still works perfectly just like the first day I used it. I'm so glad I went for my inner instinct to buy their impressive 12-inch OT5 tablet. I made sure to make this review after Amazon's return window had passed meaning that I had no negative experience using it after over a month. There are so many positive reasons why I would encourage you to try and keep this OT5 like I did. First, the display resolution of 2K is so clear and vivid when watching 1080p HD YouTube videos. Second, the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 screen for upgraded firmness, reliability, and durability. Third, the four 1217 speaker boxes give a 3D surround sound effect for best listening entertainment. Fourth, the 11000mAh long-lasting, 18w fast-charging battery will get from 50 to 100% in just one hour. Using it for casual web browsing, emails, and watching videos can last me for up to 4 days before charging it. Fifth, and the most important deciding factor for you to consider in buying this OT5 is the powerful and efficient MediaTek Helio G99 octa-core chipset with a CPU frequency of 2.2GHz to reduce power consumption and heat. This makes all the difference in enjoying lag-free browsing, lightning-fast gaming, and immersive media playback as it's 60% faster than other processors. I told myself that I would never buy any device without (or better than) Helio G99 because it's that fast and awesome to use. Finally, for those of us with nearsightedness and who have difficulty reading below 7-inch smartphones, this OT5 for me, is the perfect size for a lightweight and portable 12-inch phone and tablet in one. That's right, it is a true functional phablet wherein I just transferred my active and latest 2024 AT&T prepaid sim card. Depending on your area and location (I'm here in Southeast Texas) and your preferred 4G LTE network, the device APN settings connected me in an instant and I now fully enjoy using OT5 for text messages, incoming and outgoing calls with its clear VoLTE function, and the internet. I never had to worry about using unsecured public wi-fi because my AT&T network also runs perfectly as my mobile data. I bought this because I was looking for an Android tablet with Android 13, larger screen and good performance, but couldn't justify spending $500+ for a name brand tablet of similar size. I compared it to one other tablet by another off-brand manufacturer with almost identical specs, which you probably also looked at if you are reading this. Ended up choosing the Oukitel since it was about $20 cheaper than the other brand and figured it was a bit of a gamble either way since I've never heard of either of the manufacturers. I've only had it a short time, but so far very impressed with the Oukitel. Build quality is excellent, screen is plenty bright and clear, audio is very good, and everything I've tried so far opens up instantly. A massive improvement over my Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet with Android 11, which is about 2 years old now. The Oukitel comes with a nice case, so don't need to spend extra on a case. Cameras work great as well. Overall, very happy with the purchase. I have not tried installing a sim card yet, but I might get a sim card for it in the future. One warning, when you first start it up, it's going to update the Android OS, which took a good 45 minutes to complete for me. ... show more

The setup took a while and most was done manually. The download of files and pics from my iPhone was not available due to my lack of interface cord to my iPhone. Apps had to be downloaded one at a time from apps store and pics from iCloud. Other than this minor issues, the tablet is bright and so far apps load fast and work great which is why the high marks! The media could not be loaded. Bought in January of 2024. It’s now August 6. The touchscreen doesn’t work anymore. I can’t even shut it down to restart, etc to try and get it to work. While it worked, it was good. But I would have paid $200 more for one that will last 8 years, not 8 months. I primarily used it for movies while traveling and a game. I went to orders and there is no option to speak with their customer service about a warranty. ... show more
