I purchased this in May for $600 and I Love the paper pro. I'm super happy with my purchase. It's a luxury device that I probably didn't need but it's fun to use and makes my stock lists and notes for work look great. I'm noticing that the price has risen by $79 due to tariffs. What a shame that less people will be able to afford this amazing tablet.

UPDATE: I have returned the item 8 DAYS ago, the item was received at return center the very next day. However, my refund has yet to be issued, just still stuck under “item received” status. The refund issue date that was originally for tomorrow was changed to end of NEXT WEEK, which would put me ant almost THREE WEEKS since I physically returned the item. Not to mention the time it’ll take to actually credit back to my card. Absolutely absurd. Seriously, avoid at all costs. Original: I wanted to love this. I was so excited for it. I’m a student and after a lot of research I felt this would be the best tablet to keep me organized but needed it quickly. I received the item in a timely manner, but it has been a disaster. Immediately upon opening the product, it looked and felt amazing, high quality, well built. However, when I turned it on, it took FOREVER to load/turn on. Then, when it finally turned on, it wasn’t recognizing the marker that came with it for set up. Weird, but will skip that part for now. Then it got to the part of connecting to wifi but it didn’t recognize a single network. Again, weird, but I’ll move on and come back to it. I created a passcode. Then it displayed a “corrupted disk” display and that is all it has done since. I have tried clicking the repair button that is provided on the same screen, multiple times, no luck. I tried manually turning it on and off. I tried letting it charge fully, and I even went to the website and followed the steps of a software restore, still didn’t work even though it got to the last step. Finally, I contacted the manufacturer and they took almost an entire day to respond to each email, which is also a different person each time. They explained they would send a “replacement” in exchange but advised me to strictly avoid sending in anything aside from the tablet (no folio, marker, tips etc) because they will only send a replacement for the affected part (the tablet). Which would be fine, except this likely means I’d be receiving a refurbished tablet, not new and I did not pay almost $700 for refurbished. I even tried to work with Amazon instead for replacement but they said it would have to be through manufacturer. I’m sure the product in theory would’ve been great, but it has failed to meet my expectations despite my best efforts in trying to get it to work and even trying to get a replacement despite the poor first impression. Ill be returning and looking into something different, because spending HUNDREDS of dollars and having to experience a defective product on top of disorganized customer service is crazy.

Love this electronic notebook. A couple of important features missing still like being able to search past the title of a note in the text but it is fairly new so I expect they will get there. The app doesn't have the same functions as the device and the desktop version doesnt either but again new so I expect it will get there. Writing on the tablet is smooth and responsive. Eraser pen is well worth the upgrade. And this is the only device that passed the IT screening for security so safe and functional. Saves me a tom of time not having to transcribe my notes from a paper pad and I never lose them because it syncs to all my devices! Absolutely recommend. Fantastic product. Would give five stars if the features were a little further along.

Life-changing device. So convenient for notetaking. Adding color took my Remarkable experience to a whole new level. The battery lasts forever, it weighs so much less than my iPad air, the screen is larger, and it FEELS LIKE PAPER. The back light is a game changer and causes no eye strain. Take the time to learn how to load Kindle books (it's not that hard and you own them - it's not illegal) and you can highlight and notate them. The tablet is thin but extremely well built. I never worry about breaking it. They've added quite a bit of functionality lately - the ability to upload screenshots from your phone, the ability to draw shapes that snap into perfection, sharing your notes instantly. The only drawback is that this device costs as much as an iPad that contains a ton of more tech. Keep in mind, however, iPads have always been sold for less than they are worth. Apple could never sell them for what they are worth, especially if they have to stop making them in China. They make their money on selling your data, and licensing accessories. Get out of the ecosystem! You won't regret switching to Remarkable.
