I ordered this iPad for my grandson for Christmas. It was rated as an excellent renewed iPad, and it was a great price. Of course it was a Black Friday purchase so that might factor in. It arrived when expected, when opened it looked brand new , not a scratch or smudge on it, beautiful. Charger and cord were new. It turned on promptly, I transferred everything from his old iPad to this one with no problem. It had 86% battery when turned on, but I plugged it in during setup mostly to make sure it charged with no problem. Setup took about an hour, that included updating software and transferring all my grandsons apps and info from his old iPad. During that time the charger worked with no problems, (I checked this as there were several review that complained about charger not working or getting hot, etc.) and was cool to touch when I unplugged. As it’s a Christmas present I won’t have any other opinions as to how it works until the first of the year. I will come back and update this after he takes it “around the block a couple of times”. But for now I’m very happy about my purchase ... show more

This was a refurbished/ renewed ipad I picked the option as good condition, and when I tell you this ipad is in perfect condition, it is. There was no scratches, blemishes, dings dents, nothing!!! My son doesn’t even know it’s refurbished/ renewed. It came with a charger cord and adapter piece ; annnd the price was right!!!! If you’re thinking about ordering 1, do it!! I ordered me a brand new Samsung galaxy tablet for myself and I’m returning it to purchase a renewed/ refurbished iPad instead. I’m very pleased with this purchase and will be ordering another. I needed the device for work. And that is where Apple devices shine. There's a 99% chance that there's an app for that. All commercial companies tend to make an app for iOS first. Like in my case, the POS I needed, only existed on iOS. That said, I wish the app existed on Android, so I could buy an Android device instead. Maybe that is the reason companies don't make apps sometimes for Android because they would then have to make sure it works on these thousands of different devices. But as a consumer, I would have liked that better. Because almost every time in commercial apps, the Android version (when it exists) is superior to the iOS version. The iPad is solid (software-wise, not physically). It does what it is supposed to. And does it well. It is quick for the price range and year of build versus comparable Android devices. The camera is average (and that's not a bad thing for a tablet). Just about what you would get from other devices of 2017-2019. If oh are invested in iOS, then obviously you'd but this device vs Android. But if you have a choice, try a nice Samsung tablet of similar price range and you'd get so much more. ... show more

Came well packed in foam sleeves & in non-moveable tightly packed cardboard packing. Tablet looked like new from the factory, no scratch's, smudges or dents. Just perfect as one would expect buying a new unit. Battery came at 78% at 1pm. At 6pm still had 51% while putting it through setup pace's & all the configuring. So battery is looking good. 5 hr = 20-25% loss during heavy use. Guessing at a full day of use (8 hr) or more. However,...being it is the same plug on my iPhone & iMac, I plugged it into my 2022 iMac's multi usb port & it did not charge at all. Display showed "not charging". Don't know what's happening there but used the charger that came with it & plugged into the wall....display showed "charging". Nice. 👍 I don't have a single complaint to speak of with this purchase. Even came a day earlier than projected. Don't know where all the bad review's are coming from. Perhaps a Mon or Fri unit they bought? Now I get to watch NFL football on this instead of a 4" phone screen. Life is good again. Will update in a few months. Next day...as a test, left it unplugged from charger after it was charged to 100%. After 21 hr's battery was still at 90% so I'm happy & have no complaints. ... show more
