I own several OttLites, including a reading lamp and a second that I use for sewing. My spouse liked my reading lamp so much he bought himself one. This desk lamp does not disappoint. It is small but mighty. This very functional LED desk light is very versatile. It has three light modes: warm white, bright white, and clear sun natural daylight. Clear sun lets me see the colors more accurately when doing needlework, etc. It also has three brightness modes. Everything is controlled by a simple touch switch on the base. The goose neck is very flexible - I can direct light where it's needed. One of the things I love most about this little OttLite is that it's so very easy on the eys. I can read or do other vision-intensive tasks more comfortably. For those of us who own devices that use it, there is the added feature of a wireless charging station on the base. I'm a needleworker and reader. I do one or the other before bed, and often during the day. I have a big Ott lite beside my stitching chair that gets LOTS of use. This smaller model will be perfect for those days that I'm sitting at the table, attaching beads to a project; or for those times when I'm going to a stitching retreat and don't want to lug my big light along. This is the review of OTTlite LED Desk lamp with wireless charging. This is a desk lamp with around 1.5 feet of neck which is very flexible for your convenience. The light is not strong enough to replace your own ceiling light but as enough light to illuminate your desk or work area. It has a touch activated button to change brightness and if you hold it, it can change temperature. It also has a wireless charger that can charge your phone or earphones as long as they support wireless charging or qi charging. The charging speed is not what you would call fast so don't expect anything much. Issue I have is that when you charge something, you will see the device will dim. I guess they did not accommodate the amount of power it will use. The price also feels higher for a desk lamp. I has a Clearsun LED technology that I can't tell or I am not aware of its advantage. If you know what it is for and you need this, I would suggest you purchase this. ... show more

This is my third Ott Light. I got this one for when I'm doing smaller crafts like Legos or diamond art. Great features: 3 light temperatures with 3 brightness levels, built in wireless charger so you can charge your phone while working, and a nice length cord. The light doesn't get warm at all. Not so great features: none! It's perfect in every way! Bonus points for all-cardboard packaging. No styrofoam to deal with! ... show more

This lamp costs just a little more than other brands that offer the same features such as color/brightness control and wireless charging. I do feel that this lamp offers more quality for the asking price ($44.99). My first impressions was that the lamp was better designed and constructed with a rubber coating over the goose neck that gave it a clean look and feel instead of the usual exposed metal neck with rings on it. At first I thought that the lamp was a bit on the dimmer side but since I've been using it, my eyes felt much less stress as the product description claimed.     • This good housekeeping Ottlite has three modes of light and dims on each setting!
What I liked best is the reliable Ottlite brand and the real clear sun type light setting with dimming. I have one other Ottlite brand which I have had for years and it is wonderful lighting so I could trust this brand. Sure enough I am not disappointed because this one works like a charm-3 modes of light all able to dim with the easy positionable gooseneck. With students preparing now to return to school this is absolutely a must have item for each child’s desk! ... show more
