It has no nasty chemical smell, does hurt your wood floors, but will kill the bugs on contact and help control them from running around your house. So I don't like spiders. I recently moved to Toms River, NJ, and no one told me that I would be surrounded by them. I saw the reviews on this product and figured it would help me sleep at night, so I bought it. It arrived yesterday at 1:00 PM, and by 1:30, the whole perimeter of our house was sprayed, inside and out. Today I opened my door, and I see this shriveled up spider. Yay, the stuff works! This stuff works very well I live in the woods and have all sorts of crazy type of insects roaming around some you definitely dont want creeping into your home. It dosen't last six months though, more like 3 to 4 months I probably spray every 2 to 3 months to keep the full strength protection around the perimeter. ... show more

My husband would like me to replace the last star. I'm going to justify taking it. Hubby: the product works. You barely apply a splotch to the corners of a room and watch an earwig die on the floor. Wife: i watched bugs go into siezures for weeks after he uses this stuff. The bugs haven't even touched the sprayed spots that i know of. I have to live here too. Hubby: we treated the outside of door and window frames. The moths flew in spiralled out and died. Clearly the best mosquito protection. Wife: doesn't this imply that it contains evaporating chemicals so potent to achieve... I can't deny it works for months, not 12. Not in the southern swamps anyway. It's very humid and often 100 for weeks. I really don't know what that does to the chemicals usefulness or toxicity. In my home it's obviously the most efficient thing we've used. Easily clearing away fleas, spiders, kudzu beetles, centipedes, roaches, anything flying, and my number one loathed nemesis the fire ant. I took that last star for the migraine i get for a month after we apply it even super sparingly. But that's a choice, as a consumer, that i make willingly to avoid itchy bites, burning fire ant stings, and other creepy crawly oober unsanitary bugs I wouldn't recommend it to homes with young children. I live in Florida. You have to have pest control in place or you will end up with roaches in this area of the country. And good luck getting rid an infestation of those. I have a severe phoboa of them. I'm not from here. They are everywhere and make skin crawl. I've literally have had nightmares about them. So I was hesitant to try the product, even after the positive reviews and results of relatives and friends. I have been using this for almost a year and have not seen one live roach to date. I've seen two in my house both dead. This is sooo much cheaper than $75-100 four times a year for professional pest control. And your paying all that for them to come in spray the same or a similar product. Why throw all the money away when you can do it yourself in about 30 minutes for $20?! I do have 3 cats. This product is pet safe once dry. I put their food away and put them in a bed room while I do the rest of the house. Then let them back out when it's dry (not long maybe 30 min?). I recently had an army of ants invade our kitchen. My home is a new build (built and moved in Feb 2020) so it’s not an old home susceptible to insects. Unfortunately we do have kids who love to spill sugary drinks on the kitchen floor. A regular mop up apparently wasn’t enough because a family and extended family of ants appeared seemingly out of no where. The realization was a shock. I spent no less than 30 mins vacuuming them around the breakfast nook, from under the fridge and dishwasher. I would come back and there would be more marching around and living rent-free.
