This is now my go-to hair styling product. I have fine color treated hair with a bit of a natural wave. I struggled to find a way to style my hair and get volume without using heat. Then I found this gem (along with their dry texture spray). This used alone is great. It gives you that beachy wave look without the crunchy stickiness of a sea salt spray. This is a bit pricey and goes fast. If your hair is damaged and totally dull it works nicely. If you have any shine, it won't make much difference.

I ordered this last April so the return window is closed. I opened it today to use and the nozzle on the sprayer doesn’t work. The can is full but Nothing sprays out. Completely closed.

I LOVE this wave spray. For reference, I have . naturally thick, slightly wavy hair with color and used smoothing, oil-infused shampoo and conditioner, as well as a drop of OGX argan oil and 'R+Co One prep spray' to prep. I find using these kinds of products (including R+Co Blow Out Balm') really go a long way in killing any fly-aways in general and prevents damage to my hair when I use the hair dryer. The result is amazing-- smoothe, soft and light! I sprayed my hair with ORIBE Beach Wave Shine Spray when it was air drying and still a bit damp to keep my natural waves. I didn't use any kind of heat (hair dryer nor diffuser) after to avoid any fly aways or dryness. I wanted to see what this product could do on its own. The result was exactly what I was hoping for-- wavy, light weight, soft to run my fingers through , and maintained the look I wanted. It dries out completely and doesn't look wet or crunchy. I feel like I just got back from the beach without the salty heaviness and dirty feeling. I use quite a few Oribe products; they're amazing!! The highlight for this product for me is that this stuff doesn't make my hair huge. With my thick hair, this happens often, but this product didn't do that at all! Did not work for my purposes. It was recommended by my hair girl and I purchased it here because I needed a travel size for a Florida wedding. She does not have naturally curly hair as I do, and I believe it probably works for here purposes. I have fine curly hair and was wearing about 12 tape in extensions only adding an inch of length so that it was a little past my shoulders. The extensions are wavy and do not match my hair. I would blow out all my hair, then spray each piece prior to using a 1 1/2" curling iron to create beach waves. I used this along with Oribe humidity spray. Both of these "helped", but not enough and my style did not last while waiting(a ridiculous amount of time) for the bride. I did continually spray the humidity spray all over my hair throughout the evening. I also used this beach spray on my daughters thicker wavy hair and her curls did not last either. The bottle was gone in one week out of town in humid conditions. So, it may be fine if your hair is mostly easily managed and you are nowhere "beachy" as in HUMID. I love the idea of soft touchable waves that stay, but I did not get that. Realize my hair is a difficult case so sorry for the looong explanation. As we are heading to humidity again shortly, my extensions are out and I will not be attempting to blow dry. I do like Oribe Curl Silkening Creme, but only in California on a dry day. : ) ... show more

I bought this about a month ago but I don’t use it every time I do my hair. However - when I do use it, my sweetheart husband tells me how good my hair looks - every single time. It takes a bit of practice to get the right touch - it blasts out of the nozzle like a firehose, so take careful aim.
