super user friendly and easy to grow plus a really great harvest with 2 full growth sessions plus a few stragglers after the 2nd harvest. I've now broken up the substrate 'cake' and dispersed into a mildly shady section of my backyard and, fingers crossed, will get some extra shroomage via this method as well... great stuff guys, keep it up! ... show more

    • Doesn’t come with a spray bottle
It claims to have a new way to keep the environment moist by putting a little cardboard bowl in the “grow tent“ which is actually just a grow bag like a grow bag with holes in it and it’s not big enough. Definitely didn’t get exactly what was advertised/paid for. The ad should be changed so it’s not advertising the “high-quality spray bottle“. And these tactics annoy me stop calling it a grow tent, it’s a bag with holes in it! ... show more

Actually, when I first got these, I didn’t think it was possible for them to grow, but after four or five days, I started to see pinning, and I was so psyched. This picture is how they look after one week. It’ll be interesting to see how big they actually get and I’m not sure how I’ll know when it’s time to cut them. They don’t look blue, though, they look black, so I hope that this is the right thing and if I eat them, I won’t like have hallucinations or something, ha ha ha. I was a little concerned about the humidity bag that they instruct you to put them in, because I’m wondering how big can these get, if they’re pushing up against that plastic bag. So when they start to get bigger, I’m probably just gonna cut the front of the bag and open it up, because you can’t remove them once you put them in there, because the bottom of the box gets damp, and I will fall apart if you try to move it. Overall, I would say, so far so good, and kind of fun. Will update with other pictures as they get bigger. ... show more

I wish I would’ve taken a picture of my harvest last night before dinner. I used these on a Neapolitan pizza I made for my husband and myself. These were absolutely amazing. I love mushrooms raw or cooked. And the smell was fantastic too. The key to these germination kits is starting them immediately upon receipt. Getting another one next month after, hopefully, my second reaping. Wish it was spring so I could plant it to see if I could get a third harvest. ... show more
