    • v2.0 has been out for a while, why are people buying these?
I didn't know v2.0 that is lighter, shorter, better filament path, and better gears was out. Lucked out and my v1.5 came with a LDO-36sth20-1004ahg(xh) motor. The extruder works fine, can be finicky when loading filament but if filament is not too bent will load fine. Have not tried flexibles yet. When set to 850 rms it get really hot, it runs much cooler at 700rms. I have not noticed any skipped step but I've only taken my machine to 130mm/s. I only got this because the Voron guys were high on these but after watching the youtube reviews I guess you should check to see if there is any lube in it. I don't know much about v2 but the filament exit looks inboard so may not be a direct swap. ... show more

    • very good
excellent extruder. Only issue for me is I've used it for a week and the thread where the screw goes in to hold the spring is almost completely stripped out. Not sure how I'll fix it when it fails completely but otherwise great unit

Small, lightweight. Ordered a v1.5 and the box shows v1.5 but upon opening the box it said v2.0, was I surprised. But the only thing that's not the v2.0 is the tensioner.

Order an orbiter 1.5 not a cheap knock off that I could have printed better. No LDO motor, The wire harness was a birds nest, wires not clipped into the plug, one wise is chaffed down to bare wire, housing is not aligned with mounting holes. Very upset as this was the last thing I needed for my printer project and can’t and don’t want to put this crap on my printer build. This Super cheap replica order from somewhere else. This is a bad fake. Product listed as 1.5, hole pattern for mount is 2.0. Motor is not LDO, and motor orientation does not match any mount for EBB board mounting.... It works, but not what I expected and definitely not an Orbiter 1.5

So smooth, so small such a nice package. Yes you need a custom mount for it, but it really is a nice unit, replaced both of my bondtechs for these.

Super light weight that's good for your direct drive less ghosting. I have this attached to My modded Ender 3 pro with hydra cooling system. One thing I wish that it did not need was the bowden tube between this and your heatsink. Yes its short but would be nice if it was not needed. I've had only a few issues with it skipping or jamming and that was my bad wrong setting in slicer. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Please why did you stop including genuine LDO motor and start including a genuine moons? Good news this came as a version 2.
