Bought for outdoor use. It only gives off heat directly in front. If you are sitting off to the side, like just a few inches, you will not feel any heat at all. First setting gives minimal heat, second setting is scorching. Fine for just myself but cannot be used for a group, or two people.

This is a wonderful heater! From the moment I took it out of the box, I was impressed. It's great looking and solidly built. I put it in my living room and after I use the remote control to turn on this Oraimo Electric Heater, it heats up my room quickly and and sufficiently. I have been using it for half month, and I always feel very comfortable with using this Oraimo Infrared Heater. I didn't feel any dryness on my skin like last year when I used the PTC Ceramic Heater. The remote is very nice and it's easy to adjust the temperature. I often turn on this Oraimo Space Heater before I go to bed and I am not disturbed by any sound during sleep. The price is also reasonable and affordable for such a safe and efficient heater. My mum and dad who used to enjoy afternoon tea and sunbathing at patio said they also want to use my Oraimo Outdoor Heater when the weather turns colder. I will definitely buy another one for them as their patio heater. I highly recommend it to everyone who wish to have a warm winter! I love Oaimo products! ... show more

This heater came in at a perfect time! Received it just right before the weather starts getting cold. It works great! I love how quickly it heats up! I wish there are more settings, but it just two levels. L1 for warm and L2 for hot. The base is made of a heavy metal so you don’t have to worry about tripping it over and fall on the ground. Overall it’s pretty light-weighted. There also this hand slot that made it easy to carry around. Even though it was meant to be an outdoor heater, I use it in my room during the night time. It also comes with a remote control, which is great because then I don’t have to try to get up in the middle of the night and power it off when it becomes too hot. Worth the buy. So far I’m satisfied with it. I bought this heater so my family and I can enjoy our precious winter moments in our backyard without freezing ourselves to death. I think this is better than a fire pit because it’s less hassle and lot more cleaner. The only thing you have to install is the metal base and you’re all set. Just plugged it in and power on. It also includes a screw driver in case you don’t have one already. Oh forgot to mention, this thing heats up instantly! I love that coziness in the cold. Though I wish it’s bi-directional. There’s this grille, but still can get pretty hot after you turned it on for a while. The grille gaps are some what big so gotta be careful if you have babies around. ... show more

Actually, the heater worked great. Gave out great heat and fired right up when you turned it on. The only thing that makes it a little bit of a problem is the safety issue when it comes to a burn issue for anyone or thing who comes to close or even touches the device while it is on. Instead of heating up the whole house, all you may need is to heat up just you. This heater is like sitting next to a fire place, except it's also convenient. It has plenty of heat in the low setting and really helps me keep warm. It's well made, came well packaged, easy to put together, the seller was very responsive to a request I had. It is also easy to move around, yet has a sturdy base. I might buy a second one just so I can have this in more than one location around the house. I absolutely LOVE this heater. The first 8 days of use were a dream! I live in a old house with tall ceilings (not insulated) and seattle is getting cold recently, so I have to buy a heater to warm my place. The heater was packaged very well with foam inserts around to prevent any damage. Assembly is simply attaching the unit to the base. I had only used indoors but the heater packs enough power to really make a room hot. Unit has two levels and you can differentiate between both quite well. It starts heating by simply activating with remote control and the temperature ramps up super quickly. My skin is sensitive and very easy to become red and itchy in dry condition, unlike PTC Ceramic Heater, the Oraimo Electric Heater is mild and makes me feel comfortable. Another thing I want to call out is that this product is super quite and I don't really have to wear earplugs during sleeping. This has been the best purchase I’ve ever made.
