I make a lot of purchases online and I’m so pleased with this futon sofa, definitely the best choice! I do some interior design work and when Covid came around I was in the middle of designing an entire house, I learned fast the do’s and don’t’s when shopping online! I research and read the reviews, weed out the ridiculous ones and hope for the best! This was the best! It was easy to assemble, just two sections to bolt together and attach the legs! My husband helped cause it was easier to turn up-right with two people. I love the adjustable armrests and so easy to covert into the bed! With the pillow top/memory foam it’s really comfortable as a sofa and sleeper. I’m one of those people who don’t sleep well anywhere but my own bed but I could probably sleep on this! Perfect size for my small guest room that I’m now using as my granddaughters sleepover room/den. Love the fabric and grey color, maybe a little darker than picture shows but pretty much as described. Extremely easy assembly. Took maybe 10 minute for unpacking and attaching the feet. Looks really good in a room, very discreet. Be aware that it comes with the exact amount of bolts needed for the feet, so just try not to lose or strip one or you’ll be running to the hardware store. Comfortability is alright. Nothing fantastic, or absolutely falling in love with. It’s nice for a temporary sitting space, but probably not for hours on end. I laid a few blankets for extra comfortability, and that solved the issue. I’m about 6ft long, and my feet slightly hang off the edge, but no big deal at all. Overall a good futon for the price. Packaging was really well. No scuffs, no dings, no dents, no tears. Double boxed, foam wrapped, and banded together. Very secure packing, don’t think anyone would have an issue with delivery unless it’s absolutely manhandled. Would certainly recommend to anyone looking to not break the bank for good quality. ... show more

    • Exactly what I was looking for
I was looking for a couch for a spare bedroom upstairs and didn't want one that would be hard to move. It's comfortable enough (haven't slept on it), assembly is super easy and most importantly you can take this thing apart and put it back together total in about 10 minutes. It looks nice also. The only drawback, IMO, is that you have to be under 6 feet if you don't want your feet hanging over. It's 71 inches long (5'11") which is exactly what I am so not a lot of wiggle room. It's also smaller than a twin width-wise by 5 inches folded down. Either way, It's a good value at $330, I actually got it for about 40 cheaper so adding it to your wish list and waiting for a sale is not a bad idea. The media could not be loaded. For a long time I have been searching for a futon/sofa bed for my media room where I put all my music instruments and gym gears. I need a piece of furniture that I can relax on when jamming with my musical friends and taking a break during exercise. Of course, when friends spend the time over, we can also use this futon/sofa bed. Since this is not the main sofa in the house, we don't want to spend a lot of money on it. This sofa bed we purchased hit the sweet spot perfectly. It fits perfectly for our purpose. To be honest, after the sofa bed arrived (which only takes 2 days after purchase from Amazon), I let it sit in its packaging in my living room for almost a week because my media room is on the second floor of the house. To lift this sofa bed to the second floor was a little bit intimidating. But it wasn't that bad after I opened the packaging and carried it up piece by piece. It took me about 10 minutes to assemble it together, all the tools I need were included. And there it is, sits nicely in my media room. One of the best purchases I have done this year so far. It I have to pick something to complain about, I'd like to have an option of brown fabric material, which goes better with my carpet color in the media room. ... show more

Hesitant to get such a big piece of furniture from Amazon but was pleasantly surprised. I don't expect this to be a buy-it-for-life item but build quality is reasonable and seems sturdy enough. Cushioning isn't as plush as I would've hoped but overall pretty comfortable. No complaints here.

Bought this for our small apartment. Assembly was fairly easy, just some screws and installing the legs. Great size for the apartment, but this is not a comfortable couch nor is it a quality “memory foam futon.” After just 3 months, the back is wearing out. It was nice that there are levels to recline the back, but then one side wouldn’t recline to one of the levels and now the other side is completely broken. The hinge underneath came loose and now it’s stuck with the left side down. We still have one payment to make on this couch and it’s such a pain having to keep this. We knew it was going to be a crappy cheap couch from the first day we sat on it. Maybe we will be able to fix it, maybe not. It might be trashed soon. I waited more than a month for the item to arrive even though I ordered it when it was in stock. The sofa looks nice and it’s comfortable, especially if you are looking for a simple satisfiable sofa. However if you are looking for something more, in terms of comfortability, this is not the right choice. I bought this sofa mainly because I like the design of it, which I looked at almost everywhere around me and couldn’t find something similar to it. However, I give a 3-stars because 1) it made me wait too long for that simple quality, and 2) it didn’t satisfy the level of comfortabily that I was looking for. ... show more
