The blue is electric and true to the photo. The gold is shiny and beautiful. The cushions are a little hard for sitting and it's quite a bit smaller than a twin bed with a seam right down your back when it's used as a futon. My 22 year old niece slept on it for 2 nights in December and she said it was fine. I sit on the couch daily for my morning quiet time and I'm comfy enough. The assembly could not have been easier. Ladies, please just ignore your significant other and ORDER THE DAMNED COUCH ALREADY!! I was a bit nervous ordering the mustard yellow but with my indigo accent wall I wanted something that popped. Baby when I tell you this couch POPS, it fully delivers!! The gold accents are high quality and flawless as they come wrapped for protection in shipping. Took me about 12 mins total and I had this couch fully assembled and staged. You could comfortably sleep one if needed with the convertible option but I sleep like a wildebeest so I doubt I'll be spending any full nights sleeping on it. Couch wise, it's heavenly! I use it in my loft as a waiting/sitting area for my clients and everyone has raved about how gorgeous it is. You won't find a couch that converts and is this high quality for the price anywhere else I can promise you that. Its a nice looking couch. The design has some major flaws. First the legs on the couch. Why the designer decided to angle these legs is beyond me.I had this couch for two months and I had to relace the the legs twice. I weigh 185lbs.The legs bend under my weight,Dont even think of about a third person sitting on this couch. The center feels like a metal angle between the two cushions.
