To start off I’m 105 pounds. The leather is nice and the design is cool. Extremely easy to set up when it comes, it’s in one box and it looks like you’re missing pieces but you have to flip the couch over and unzip the back they store all the pieces and tools you need underneath it. I do have a complaint when I unzipped it to grab everything I’ve noticed there is not really any padding inside ( maybe a inch)it’s hollow so no it’s not the most comfortable couch. I do get sore sitting on it (7hrs or longer) But I desperately needed a couch that has built-in cupholders that wasn’t $800 for my small apartment. I do not regret my purchase but if you’re wanting something that’s comfortable this is definitely not for you. I would say this is something that would go in someone’s office or a little seating area where you’re not gonna be sitting there for long periods. I won’t lie I do not understand people complaining about the legs breaking off I had no issues. (Had it for a month now) I have a 3yrd old who has been climbing and hanging off the back of it. I have a bad habit of plopping down on things (my Toilet seat is forever sliding all over the place) and with guest I’ve had a combo of close to 300 on each couch (I bought 2) but in all honesty for the price it’s a good value IF you know what your expecting. ... show more

    • Uncomfortable, and they somehow managed to mess up chair leg screws..
The couch looks great but I wouldn't sleep on this thing unless I was forced to. My biggest complaint is that the couch itself is easy to put together with just the legs yet they somehow managed to even botch that much. The rear legs did not even screw-in correctly and I ended up completely ruining the rear legs' by stripping the screws. I had no idea what was wrong as the first leg screwed in well up until about halfway so I just applied more pressure thinking that was normal. The other leg wouldn't even go into the hole at all... I tried reversing the legs--no luck. I tried reversing the screw direction--(obviously) no luck. So, here I am with my $200 Futon Couch with the back legs stripped to hell and 2" higher than the front legs. I'm not going to return it as that would honestly just be too much trouble at this point but..eh, maybe you'll get luckier than me. P.S. I can't even unscrew the back legs now..I hope they respond to my inquiry! ... show more

    • Looks nice, terribly uncomfortable
I got this for my son’s first apartment. I thought it would look nice and be a place I can sleep when I visit him. This sofa has a nice contemporary and unique look to it. However, it’s way smaller than I imagined...it sits very low to the ground and the seat itself is narrow. Perhaps if you are less than 5ft tall, it may be fine, but otherwise it’s impossible to sit comfortably on this thing. And if you are interested in using it to sleep on, FORGET ABOUT IT! Just sleep on the floor, it will be more comfortable than this sofa. I even used a foam bed topper on it and it was the worst sleep of my life: my feet hung off the bed, it was hard as a rock, and when I woke in the morning, I felt like someone beat the crap out of me....my entire body hurt. Basically, if you just want it as an accent piece in a small area that won’t get used much or if you are a very short person, maybe this is for you. After the first night visiting my son, I went out and bought an air mattress and slept amazing the next night. ... show more

the futon looks great, could use a lot more cushioning. but you get what you pay for. was easy to put together. UPDATE: i tried to lay on it because my brother asked if he can stay the weekend, as i said before, it looks really nice but don't try and sleep on it!!!! it is the most uncomfortable thing i ever layed on. i even bought a memory foam topper to see if that would help, nope. as i said, its really nice looking and using it as a couch is fine. but don't let family or friends sleep on it unless you really don't like them or don't want them to stay long..... ... show more

    • It's Inexpensive and feels like a Carnivale Ride
I needed a piece of furniture for an office space, saw the price and size and it fit where it needed to go. Assembly was simple, handful of screws and you are done. The side Arm Rest/Pillows are comfortable enough and the middle fold down is good enough for small cups nothing larger than a 16oz glass. Sitting on it is like sitting on steel springs with barely any covering of padding. You'll feel the metal, I tried sitting on it for a few hours and it was tolerable but not comfortable. Laying out over the twin size 'bed' is fine for a night but long term sleep for house guests you'll want more padding for sure. There was a small torn piece of the faux leather on the top of futon. And the food down table did have a small section of the stitching that has pulled apart somewhat when it arrived. Not big enough for me to contact the seller about. Futon is good size for the kids toy room which is small. I have had two of the kids sleep on it when they had friends over and both kids ( 11 & 12 years old) said it was not comfortable. But I’m all honesty, the bed part will only be used a couple times a year. Kids enjoy it and have no complaints when it’s being used as the couch. ... show more

    • GREAT for a home with a cat(s)!
I ordered this couch because I thought the faux leather would be more cat-friendly AND easier to clean than any cloth-covered couch. That worked out perfectly as my cats don't even try to scratch it and a soft dust cloth wipes any fur right off of the surface! (NOTE: I wrapped the platform that sticks out about 1 foot on the back of couch in store-bought plastic wrap, so the cats don't scratch that area either.) My first couch arrived without the 2 arm rest pillows (which should be in the zipper pocket on underside of couch). I emailed the manufacturer & they could not ship just the pillows, so I got another complete couch - with the arm rests!
